Beautiful Remodeled 2 Bedroom/2 Bath with Incredible Ocean and Mountain Views

Our Whaler 923 is a beautiful spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath ocean view condominium located on the popular courtyard side of Tower I. It's 9th floor location offers expansive view stretching from the West Maui Mountains, across the resort courtyard and out to Kaanapali Beach The unit has been completely renovated from top to bottom and is in outstanding condition.


Our stays are 7 (12 for holidays) nights but shorter stays may be approved if it backs up to an existing reservation. We do have other condos at this same resort listed here on VRBO so we may be able to recommend another if this one is not available.

Property Updates at The Whaler:


The entire Whaler Resort is like brand new. The resort looks fabulous! Completed projects include new BBQ areas with beautiful granite tops and benches, refinished our lighted tennis courts, brand new Nautilus Fitness Center, additional waterfall feature in the koi pond, beautiful luscious landscaping and revamped parking areas. The new solar project is completed!

There is a resort fee of $20.00 plus tax per day paid directly to the resort when checking in. It includes parking.

***Get the assurance of an on island management company with a great reputation that has been serving Maui guests for the past 30 years. Our office is only minutes away in Kahana Professional Offices. We pride ourselves in fantastic customer service that has many of our guests returning year after year.


“Wonderful experience”

Just stayed at this unit and we could not ask for anything more! Everything was there. Enjoyed the fact that we got views from either sides, ocean and mountains! We loved that there was the washer and dryer and full kitchen!

We would definitely rent this unit again and recommend this to all. Also loved that there was free service to print our departure boarding pass at the lobby and our baggage were held at the front desk until our shuttle pick up.

Amy at the front desk was very helpful and very accommodating.

All in all, this is home away from home!!! Loved it!

This is a beautiful and very spacious unit. A home away from home, you are provided with all you need to make your stay comfortable. Gorgeous ocean and mountain views from the wrap around lanai.

Wonderful stay in paradise at The Whaler

We love the Whaler. The people that stay here are nice and seem more friendly than other places we have stayed where no one talks to each other. The unit was very nice and loved the awesome lanai with view of the ocean. The unit is very spacious so it was great for us and our two teenage kids. Love that there are 2 queens in second bedroom. The unit could use a few updates, but overall the family voted that they love the Whaler and the location is perfect on Kaanapali Beach near Whalers Village. Close to the action yet far enough away to not be in it.

We love the Whaler!

We have stayed at the Whaler twice now and will likely visit again. If you are looking for a less commercial place to stay (no restaurants or stores), but within walking distance to Whaler Village and a variety of high-end hotels, this is the place for you. The pool is just the right size and has plenty of chairs to lounge around the pool and on the beach. There is also a long-distance boardwalk right in front of the building for short or long walks that is beautiful.

We stayed in this two bedroom, two bath with our daughter and her boyfriend and never had a problem finding a restaurant close by to enjoy dinner. There are also surfing lessons and fantastic luaus within minutes of the complex.

The unit itself was really spacious and well laid out. The kitchen was well appointed and accommodated two of us cooking in there no problem. We enjoyed four home-cooked meals cooked on the barbecues beside the pool area, and brought up to the unit to enjoy on the deck overlooking the views. The views to the courtyard below, mountains and ocean were perfect at all times of the day and night.

Again, we recommend the Whaler and look forward to visiting again.
