An Amazing Apartment and Host
We just spent five nights in this very spacious apartment that was fully equipped with everything you need for a short or longer stay. Luigi, the owner, is very responsive and helpful, and greeted us upon arrival with a wonderful welcome basket of food and drink. The apartment was clean and had an amazing amount of space, including two large full shower baths. The two TVs, cable and WiFi worked perfectly.
Santo Domingo de Heredia is located between the city of Heredia and San José and treasures white-washed buildings from the colonial period harvesting centuries of history.

Access to route 32 to the Caribbean is just 10 minutes away as well as General Canas highway -to the international airport- and route 27 -to the Pacific-, reachable after 25 minutes ride.
The main and notorious buildings of this town are the Catholic Temples. The "Basilica" which is one of the biggest temples in Costa Rica was erected in 1891 and Iglesia del Rosario, which was re-built in 1847.
The apartment is located within a walking distance ratio of 500 meters, finding the town´s central park, convenience and groceries stores, pet shops, banks, post office, ATMs, restaurants, bars, gas station, ice cream shops, pharmacies, beauty salons, barber shops and farmer's market. There are also great bakeries and butchers shop near by.
