Beautifully styled mid-century design, one block off Union Street restaurants/boutiques (Starbucks, bank, cleaners etc. all within a block). This is a quiet location, private entrance, top flat walk-up (friend owns the bottom flat which is identical and also available as a rental). Enjoy a stroll for spectacular views of the Golden Gate bridge from Marina Green or the lush park atmosphere of the Presidio (YMCA with pool etc. close by in the Presidio). Or better yet, use the bikes in the garage and enjoy a leisurely bike ride along the Bay/Crissy Field without challenging the hills of San Francisco! Funston Park (George Moscone Recreation Center) blocks away with tennis, indoor basketball and field sports.
This pristine flat features 2 sunny bedrooms (one has a king, the other a queen bed)/ 1 bath, very large multi-level (3 terraces), sunny (south exposure) patio/backyard and an attached garage with parking for one car and a new washer/dryer plus a powder room to accommodate backyard use. Flat was recently remodeled with hardwood floors, granite, limestone, high end kitchen appliances, a LifeSource water filtration system, 52'' flat screen TVs (living room and master bedroom, HDMI connection), cable with wireless internet connection. Unit was newly furnished from 'Room and Board' with all the amenities.
Jan and I have lived outside of SF in San Mateo Park for almost 25 years. Before that we lived in various neighborhoods in SF and always loved Cow Hollow.
David Carr purchased this condo in 2011
We bought the property with one of our best friends (she has the lower unit, we have the top unit). We love the beauty of the unit and location. Besides being incredibly convenient to Union Street (one block), the Presidio, Chestnut Street/Marina, Crissy Field are close by.
Loved the backyard which has been completely fixed up with three terraces, great lighting, ping pong table, gas grill, propane heater etc.
Short & sweet! This condo was just as it describes and as the pictures show. In comparison to hotel pricing, you get more for your money staying here (living area/kitchen etc even if you don't plan on cooking, access to a couple of bikes). It was clean & had everything you would need. It was in walking distance to food, coffee, the marina district & the fisherman's wharf (if you don't mind walking). There was parking available but we didn't have one, just used uber & lyft the entire time. The owner was reachable when I had questions & very reasonable. Thanks for a great 1st time in SF!
The owner of this charming apartment has thought of everything. Not only is it beautifully decorated, but has a well-appointed kitchen, lovely linens and all the amenities one could hope for. Truly a home away from home. The apartment is located in Cow Hollow and is steps from great shopping and dining. We're planning to rent it again when we return for my son's wedding.
We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful apartment this summer. The location couldn't have been better, and David was the best! (He even went out of his way, when our mail was accidentally sent to his place, and sent it back to us!) thank you again ;-)
Perfectly renovated and a garage space for the car...that we rarely needed, but parking would have been a challenge. You can walk to many wonderful places right out your door. We had the perfect five star SanFran vacation thanks to David and his awesome apartment!
Great location, well decorated, well equiped and sooooo clean !!! We totally recommend this property.
This was my first time personally using VRBO, and I have to say David has set the bar very high. The place was perfect, very clean, and comfortable. The beds were AMAZING! Also, as a young professional I thought the location was perfect. We didn't have a car, so it was nice to be within walking distance to so much - just a few blocks to the bay, and tons of bars and restaurants right around the corner. We also used the bikes a couple of times to grab breakfast and coffee down by the water. If I ever come back to San Fran I hope we can stay here again!
We totally appreciated this lovely, bright, quiet comfortable, clean condo and it's Cow Hollow location once we wrestled our luggage up the two flights of stairs. Our first-afternoon walk to Ft. Mason and the Marina Walk was a great introduction to the neighborhood. We had a tasty meal at nearby Bettlenut and a wonderful Italian dinner at A16, both within walking distance of the condo. When we had some trouble with our TV reception the owner sent his son right over to troubleshoot. We totally recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.
One block from many restaurants, bars and shops on Union Street. Can walk to more of the same on Chestnut Street. Can walk to the Presidio and a great YMCA. Can walk to the Marina, Crissy Field and the Golden Gate Bridge. Close to the yacht clubs during the Americas Cup. One block from 41 and 45 bus lines which provide access to Union Square, North Beach, Financial District and connections to other great parts of the city.
