Southern Hills Golf Course is a short undulating course that will have you using every club in your bag. Southern Hills Golf Course is a well-rounded combination of playability and aesthetic appeal that makes your golf game more enjoyable than any other course. Native Mule deer, wild turkey and cottontail rabbits abound around the course...and the occasional sighting of the wiley red-tail fox interact with the rolling terrain, ravines and majestic Ponderosa Pines at Southern Hills Golf Course.

Close to all the attractions of the Black Hills: Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, The Wild Horse Sanctuary, Custer State Park, Black Hills Playhouse, Jewel Cave and Wind Cave, to name just a few.

After a long, hard day come home and relax in our 6 person hot tub nestled in the trees. If hot tubbing is not your thing, relax on one of the many decks with incredible 360 degree views of the Southern Black Hills. Tame your hunger while enjoying the covered patio with an outdoor eating area and large BBQ grill.

Inside, a state of the art heat pump keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The kitchen and dining area have great views and come fully stocked with dishes, silverware, pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster, blender, plus all the major appliances-refrigerator, stove and microwave. The Great Room has plenty of seating, windows, satellite receiver, DVR and big screen TV. The downstairs family room has all the amenities of home including a satellite receiver, DVR, big screen TV, Nintendo Wii gaming system (with games or bring your own) and a DVD player. Stay connected with wireless internet throughout.

Three bedrooms that include the loft all with queen beds will sleep six. Additional sleeping areas will accommodate air beds (provided). The master bedroom on the main floor includes a queen bed, deck with a view, and bathroom. The second bedroom on the lower level also has a queen bed and bath across the hall. The loft bedroom with queen bed has envious views of the Southern Black Hills. The two baths are fully stocked with towels and basic toiletries. You have your own laundry with full sized washer and dryer for your use.

A perfect Sturgis Rally rental, included is a huge garage and lots of trailer parking. Come visit Wind Cave Cabin. I think you will agree, this is the perfect Black Hills get away.

My sisters and I and our daughters had a wonderful time at this location. It was big enough for all of us and the location was fabulous! This was our first Annual Mother/Daughter Getaway and the experience made everyone excited to do this again!!!

A cozy, comfortable and welcoming place to stay

  • 5 of 5

A very nice, clean place to stay. We needed a little get away, and had everything provided that made our stay comfortable, relaxing and peaceful. The place is very well kept and is just far enough away from town to get there without much hassle and yet far enough away to maintain country privacy.

Thank you for a great stay.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the review! Glad that you were able to get away. We also think it is close enough to town when we need something, but far enough that we can be away from it all.

Wildlife was amazing!

  • 4 of 5

Very quiet even with the highway close by. Every morning we were greeted with deer and turkeys, a great way to start the day. The sunsets were unbelievable. It was a great time with friends and would recommend it to everyone.

Beautiful area, great location for visiting all that the Black Hills offers!

  • 4 of 5

Our family of 4(all adults) loved the cabin and the wonderful views from the deck and outdoor hot tub. Plenty of room to spread out, and the cool September nights made for great sleeping, with all the windows open. The only things that keep it from being a 5 star review are the lack of a second shower, and the close proximity to the highway(noise). Thanks to our hosts for helping to provide for a great week in the Black Hills!

Owner's Response: Thank you for the review! Adding a second shower would take some extensive remodeling, but we are considering. Usually the highway noise is not too bad. Glad that you enjoyed your stay otherwise!

clean, well-equipped , spacious cabin

  • 5 of 5

We had nine people staying and with three levels, no one felt on top of each other. Very clean.

Everything we needed was here, extra towels for the hot tub, dish soap, trash bags, etc.

Location was great, right at Wind Cave NP entrance. Very nicely decorated. Be aware rates are for six guests, additional guests extra.
