We'll likely be back!
Nice location, the top unit layout and setup was perfect for myself and 2 tween girls. Close drive to town and the State Park. Office Manager was perfect to work with and the basics of things (linens, dishes, etc.) were available.
Area was beautiful & we had a great time.
Good size for our family of four and the location was close to many places things to do.
Comfortable cottage in a great location
We had a wonderful stay at the upstairs cottage in early July. The property, located in a quiet neighborhood, just minutes north of downtown Ludington, had all the comforts of home. Owners, Jim and Sue, and property manager, Beth, were friendly and responsive. The area is full of activities for visitors of all ages and interests. We would certainly recommend the Lakeside Amore Cottages to all visitors to this lovely Lake Michigan area.
Small, clean, perfect weekend getaway!
This cottage was perfect for a weekend away! We especially appreciated the ability to bring our two dogs. Jim and Sue were perfect hosts and do a wonderful job maintaining their property.
Second time staying with Jim and Sue
We had a lovely time again staying a Lakeshore Amore Cottages - the location is perfect and the cottage has everything you need. I really enjoy being able to feel at home when we do lake weekends and sometimes that is hard to do in rentals. Very nice place - would recommend to friends.
Comfortable lodging, beautiful country, lots of fun activities
Our Lakeshore lodging was fabulous; comfortable, spacious, convenient, and fully furnished with lots of accessories and supportive staff. So many hiking, boating, canoeing, swimming, activities, including mushroom hunting. Lots of fun tourist things, like the elk farm, the dunes ride, the gourmet mushroom factory, to name a few. Oh, not to mention, all the lighthouses to visit, walk out to, and climb up. We did not bring fishing gear but will next time, because so many people were catching large salmon and ocean perch right off the piers. And if you like dunes you will love the Michigan dunes. Oh yes, and picking fresh fruit, then eating them of course. We visited the state parks in Ludington and 20 miles south at Silver Lake. Then took side trips to Holland (and the Dutch village) and Manistee. Also visited farms and wineries. Two weeks chock full of fun. We never realized Michigan was such a green and beautiful state, with very temperate weather (actually, cool to southerner like me, but my wife loved it.)
