Married with one son who has now been holidaying in Sharm since he was 3 and along with dad is now a qualified diver. We love Sharm for the wonderful year round weather , superb diving and fantastic food. We looked at various apartments in the resort but loved this one because of the huge balcony. Egypt is all about out door living and where better to experience that than on a bedouin cushion with views over the main pool.

After a wonderful visit here n November this year we can honestly say that R31 is one of the best holiday apartments we've ever stayed in and we loved it! From the moment you open the door and walk in there are so many 'wow' factors to delight you. The kitchen area has everything you need to self cater easily, including oven/grill, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster and plenty of crockery/ cutlery etc. Similarly the tastefully decorated lounge is well equipped with a flat screen TV, DVD player and plenty of books to keep you entertained during your stay. The beautiful mood lighting which is such a feature in this apartment makes this the perfect area to relax in when the sun sets or if you prefer to enjoy a meal al fresco or simply sit outside in the warm Egyptian evening then you won't be disappointed! The spacious balcony with its Bedouin cushions and comfortable seating was a real favourite with us as was the stunning main bedroom with its black and white theme and flowing drapes. There is air conditioning throughout the apartment which was very welcome but we were always careful not to waste this commodity as it is chargeable when you leave along with your water usage. Everything about R31 is designed to ensure you have all the comforts of home but in a fabulous setting and Lynne the owner has provided many extra touches e.g washing machine, hair dryer, iron, mobile phone, local information etc which sets this apartment aside from many others we've stayed at in Sharm. There's plenty of bedding and ample towels and beach towels available so no there's no need to carry any of this in your valuable luggage allowance!! The complex itself is beautiful and very well maintained with polite friendly staff and visible security at all times which is very reassuring. This was our 3rd stay at Egyptian Experience and as usual we were made very welcome and treated like valued guests where nothing is too much trouble. There are 5 lovely swimming pools, a poolside bar and a small on site shop which is great for buying the basic supplies but for general shopping there are 2 large supermarkets approximately 15 minutes away that will both deliver for a small charge. Incidentally we would highly recommend using the complex' s own taxi service as it is very reasonable and reliable! All in all we loved our stay in R31 and have already booked to return here again next year!
