Close to the tree-lined trails and exercise stations in Sunset View Park, and just seven minutes to great shops and five-star dining in downtown Bend, you'll relax in the warm waters of the hot tub out back, and escape the summer heat with the cool, central air conditioning.
Bright and cozy, the big flowered painting over the fireplace sets the tone for this comfortable, cheery space. After your hike on nearby West Bend Trail, kick off your shoes, grab a drink from the fridge and settle into the plush furniture with one of the books on the shelf, or watch cable news on the big flat screen. If there's time before dinner, slide one of the DVDs you brought along into the player and watch a movie. There are great views of the park right out the window!
Your laptop and tablet will work just fine here. Bring up the free WiFi and find a place to eat in Bend, or check the time and place of local events.
With one bedroom, this charming home will accommodate up to two people comfortably. (Sorry, no pets.) Colorful and comfy, the bedroom is nicely furnished with original art and a finely crafted armoire. Before slipping into the big king bed for a peaceful night's sleep, the beautiful writing desk is the perfect place to sit and make that journal entry or review the brochures you collected that day. There's one nicely decorated, full bathroom, and a washer and dryer so you'll have plenty of fresh, clean clothes. And don't forget the wonderful hot tub out on the patio where you can escape after a long day into its soothing waters. This retreat is located above the garage of a larger home where the owners make their full-time residence, but you'll find plenty of space to comfortably sleep two guests.
With 275 places to eat, exciting and chic Bend is a food lover's paradise! But you don't need to go downtown for a meal. This gorgeous, uniquely designed kitchen is well equipped to help you create just about any meal to suit your appetite. Your chef will appreciate the control that comes with the adjustable flame height on the gas stove, and the convenience of the microwave for warming up food and making quick snacks. Enjoy your meal at the wooden dining table with dimpled finish. With an average 300 days of high-desert sunshine on this side of the mountains, you'll have plenty of opportunities to enjoy a barbecue. Just throw your shrimp, burgers, or salmon on the gas grill, and enjoy a barbecued feast!
Because of its favorable climate, Bend is a mecca for outdoor sports no matter what time of year, including the extensive trails in nearby Deschutes National Forest which plays host to snowmobiling, Nordic skiing, and snowshoeing in winter, and hiking and biking in shirt-sleeve weather. You can also hit the slopes at Mount Bachelor, just six minutes away. And don't forget the Deschutes River where you can float the kayak or tease the river with your lure and line.
Chic and up to date, Bend is a gem when it comes to dining and shopping. Stroll on Bend's historic streets and lose yourself in the myriad shops and boutiques (350) where you can find all manner of clothing, souvenirs, art, and jewelry. And there are plenty of events in Bend, not the least of which include the Cascade Cycling Classic and the Pole Pedal Paddle to an array of festivals like Balloons Over Bend, Bend's Bend WinterFest and Summer Festival, and free summer concerts at the Les Schwab Amphitheater.
Come see why more and more people are discovering the other side of Oregon - the rugged beauty and pleasant, high desert climate of Bend. While you're there, make this lovely home in a quiet, West End neighborhood your getaway headquarters.

Vacasa - Vacation Rentals Made Easy:
Professionally managed and cleaned homes
Local assistance 24/7 for emergencies
Secure INSTANT booking
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Our stay at the Westside condo was perfect. Clean, quiet and very private as the description says. King bed was very comfortable. We were in Bend during the summer and would love to come back this winter to enjoy the gas fireplace and take advantage of the garage for our snowboards. We'll be back! "
We had a great stay! Excellent communication from the property team. Close drive to restaurants, breweries, and downtown area.
We were concerned a little bit choosing an upstairs loft instead of an entire house, but I will say, as I saw in the other reviews, the location is very quiet! We did not hear anyone else the entire time we stayed. The hot tub was nice and is it's own little-fenced area to the side of the loft. The only thing I would add is it would be nice to have a tv in the bedroom as well. The only TV was in the living room.
This was a great place for my husband and I to stay and enjoy our time in Bend. We liked being in a quiet neighborhood (there is a nice green space across the driveway to sit and read, or throw the frisbee), and away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area, yet close enough to walk/bike to grab a meal out or enjoy the activities in town. The house itself was perfect for my husband and I, has all the essentials to cook there, and the hot tub is awesome to have after a day of hiking. We appreciated having the one car garage to store our bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards when we weren't using them.
