Such a cozy cabin.
The weekend was just amazing. Can't wait to go to the cabin in the summer to enjoy the river. The cabin has easy access to the trail system and close to town so you can either walk to the stores or drive.
We are so happy you enjoyed yourselves. Hope you can return sometime. Claire & Tom
Cozy and close to town
We stayed for a fall weekend in this cozy chalet. It had everything we needed and was perfectly comfortable, with a beautiful view of the Moose River. You can walk to Tickners outfitters and rent kayaks for a river paddle, or walk into town for dinner. Perfect!
Great Home and Location
This house is amazing! The location is great because when you're in the house it is quiet and peaceful yet only one block from main street. The home itself is spacious, yet still cozy with a nice size kitchen and living room and three large, comfortable bedrooms. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door. The deck is off the living room and is large and private with a nice cooking area and comfortable chairs. Everything is clean. Whether you are looking for a place to hang out and relax, or home base to come back to after a day's adventure this home fits the bill. Highly recommended.
We are so happy you and your family enjoyed staying at Sci Sci Chalet. Hope you can return. Claire & Tom
Summer 2015
Absolutely enjoyed our stay at the clean and comfortable Sci Sci Chalet! As previous reviews stated the location was fantastic. We explored the Old Forge area on Kayak, bicycle and foot. Tickner's Canoe and kayak rentals can take you 3 to 4 miles upriver and you can ride the current a very long ways....we chose to paddle against the rapids :) Thank you Claire and Tom!
So glad you enjoyed your stay. Welcome back anytime. Claire & Tom
Beautiful Home and Perfect Location!
We spent an amazing week at the Sci Chalet! We felt right at home the minute we arrived. The home is the ideal adirondack get-away with an absolutely perfect deck and extremely comfortable authentic adirondack furniture. The house is very well appointed with everything you could possibly need and has a great layout for enjoying time with family. We enjoyed many meals cooked on the new grill! The location could not have been better as it is tucked away on a very peaceful street right on the river but is only a few blocks to the shops and restaurants. In fact, you can walk to pretty much anything (including the canoe/kayak rental place)! We were very sad to depart and hope to come back again next year! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!
We are so happy you enjoyed your stay at Sci Sci Chalet. Thanks Claire & Tom Sci
Had a great time!
The Sci Sci chalet was just as described and reviewed. The property is well maintained and booking was easy. The chalet allowed for relaxation along the Moose River as well as the ease to walk to town to enjoy the shops and restaurants. We enjoyed multiple days of kayaking (through the recommended Tickner's) as well as hiking around the area. We grilled on the lovely deck a couple nights and enjoyed Sisters Bistro for two dinners, a short walk from the chalet. We highly recommend this property and will definitely consider it again in the future.
We are so happy you enjoyed your stay at Sci Sci Chalet. Claire &Tom
