highly recommended

Huge house, loads of space, great view from the terrace. The pool is great, clean, the private garden is a wonderful place to let the kids burn off some energy. There's table-tennis, a little slide, boules. There are a few large supermarkets within a 5 min drive and we also rode to them on the bikes which are provided (if you have strong legs to pedal back up the hill!) The best thing was the location - literally 10 mins off the main motorway (A8) and close to the big seaside resorts. 40 mins to Nice airport.

splendid villa!

  • 5 of 5

We are a three-generational family of nine--extending from two to seventy-one-- and found the villa all we had hoped it would be. Despite the very high temperatures the week we were there, which hovered in the upper 30's, the pool, ample number of electric fans and good cross-ventilation made the house comfortable. Its location is superb, not too far from the bustling coast, but within easy driving distance of many charming provencal villages. Our only disappointment was that although the first floor was wheelchair accessible, there are two steps down to the bedroom where the disabled member of our party slept. He met the challenge, but it was a bit inconvenient.

All in all, it was a terrific experience and we would recommend the villa with no reservations.

Wonderful Holiday Property

  • 5 of 5

This villa is spectacular. This was about the eighth time my family and I had rented a holiday villa or apartment on or near to the Cote d’Azur and this property has been the best so far! It’s very conveniently located, only about a ten minute drive from the motorway and around twenty minutes from the coast. As properties a little inland tend to have lower rental costs than those right on the coast, this makes this particular property very good value for money. The details on the website do not do it justice. The villa is very well designed and equipped. The rooms were bigger than we had expected. The property’s crowning glory is the large infinity pool. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anybody wanting a peaceful location within easy reach by car of all of the attractions of this part of France.

A wonderful 2 week family holiday in Provence

  • 5 of 5

This villa is ideally situated in an elevated position at the top of a quiet side road just outside the village of Montauroux. The building overlooks a large terraced fenced plot with a shaded lawn above the beautiful infinity swimming pool.

The villa was actually larger than we had expected from the listed description and, in some respects, the photographs did not totally do justice to the property. It is large and airy with every facility you could wish for in a Provence home, let alone a rental property. It was really home from home.

We did not arrive at the villa until the early hours of the morning due to travelling in on an evening flight from the UK but the caretakers were there to meet us and help us settle in. The property was very clean and well maintained.

When we awoke the next morning we were delighted to find that our home for 2 weeks was everything we had hoped for - and more. Our concern about stocking up with provisions was resolved when we discovered several supermarkets only a couple of kilometres away which were open until 1 pm on Sunday.

The children were in the pool before breakfast arrived from the shopping trip and remained there for much of the holiday! They were shortly followed by their parents and grandparents.

The area is ideal for a family holiday with lots to occupy all three generations. The children and their parents made several visits to the beautiful 'Lac de St. Cassien' to spend time on the paddle boats equipped with slides and diving platforms. They also visited adventure centres with lots of climbing equipment and rope slides.

This was, of course, all a bit beyond we grandparents but we enjoyed several trips out to Grasse (the perfume centre), nearby caves and local villages - especially to browse their markets. We ate out on several occasions with our particular favourite being Auberge Fleurie in Fayence, about 8 km away.

We would have no hesitation in recommending this property to family and friends – or, indeed, to anyone seeking a relaxing holiday in Provence.
