In a quiet location with all you need to make you feel at home

The Great Kings complex (built 2007) is reached through security gates and features a large 20m pool, children's pool, sunbeds, umbrellas and changing facilities and a tennis court all for the exclusive use of residents.

Luxurious 2 bedroom apartment (non-smoking). Large double and twin bedrooms with fitted wardrobes. Fully air-conditioned and heated throughout. Fitted kitchen complete with oven, grill, ceramic hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, breakfast bar etc. Living area furnished to very high standard with comfortable 3 seater leather sofa-bed and matching 2 seater, 32' LG LCD TV, satellite, DVD player etc. Living area opens out onto large furnished balcony which is also accessed from the master bedroom - ideal for dining al-fresco on summer evenings.

Flights: There are numerous airlines (scheduled and budget) flying directly into Larnaca. We found Cyprus Airlines particularly good value as its prices include baggage, meals, drinks and in-flight entertainment. It is also possible to reach from Paphos but the drive across the island takes over 2 hours on mainly motorway.

Car Hire: We are often asked about car hire and it is difficult to recommend any particular company. However, we have used in the past to pre-book a car. is also a good place to check options. also gives you lots of other local information.

This is our 3rd time here and, as ever, the apartment had everything to make our stay comfortable. The complex now has security gates and it was very quiet there(wondering if that is to do with recession). There were some feral cats and folks had mixed feelings about their presence. We chose not to feed them. The kiosk had just reopened and it was being run by a lively Irish girl. She was still waiting for her food licence but she was serving drinks and ice creams as well as a few other things. We hope she manages to make a success of things. We always hire a car so had great fun vision all the familiar places. The weather was rainy on a couple of days but it did not hinder our fun.

Lovely apartment and complex

Myself and my family had a lovely time here. Lots of space, lovely kitchen and comfortable living. A car is needed if you want to see the island. Information previous to the stay provided by marion, and she was brilliant help!

Lovely apartment

We stayed in this apartment for two weeks and found it to be like home from home. It has a modern decor, air conditioning throughout (vital, especially at night), a lovely balcony, and all set in a secure complex. There was wi-fi available by the swimming pool which was very helpful as we didn't use mobile networks while we were away. There was live football on the communal television, again situated by the pool, as well as pool and air hockey. The apartment was situated in a quiet area, but this was what we wanted. If you are planning to stay here, we would advise that you hire a car unless you are just wanting to stay very local in Kapparis. We received full instructions from the owner as to how to get to the apartment from the airport, and how to access the gates and locks. We would have no hesitation in booking the apartment again.

Holiday Apartment

The Apartment was nice and clean and there were lots of videos for the children to watch. There were electric fans in the bedrooms as well as the A/Cs, which was fantastic. The apartment was light and airy and the balcony looked out onto nice flowering plants and shrubs. Bathroom was very clean, shower worked wonderfully. The neighbours in adjoining apartments were nice and friendly. Safe place for kids to go down to poolside on their own. Apartments surrounded by wall so safe and secluded from anyone driving past. All in all, we had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay in the apartment and would definitely ask for the same apartment again. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking utensils needed and there is a large fridge freezer. The apartment is nicely colour co-ordinated with bedding, towels and furniture. There is also a very nice TV. The apartment is of a high standard. We hired cars for the duration of our stay and when returning to the apartment, it felt like we were returning home because the apartment was so comfortable. My children has said that the layout of the apartment made them feel comfortable.

Enjoyable stay

We stayed at the apartment for 25 nights. I am pleased to say that the apartment was a 'home from home' for us. The apartment was furnished nicely and there was everything we needed to make our stay a comfortable one.

There is plenty of plates/cutlery etc, and it was really useful to have a dishwasher.

The apartment is in walking distance to the centre of Kapparis where there is some nice bars and restaurants.

I would recommend hiring a car as there is many great places within easy reach. We visited lots of beautiful beaches along the coast. We enjoyed wondering around Ayia Thekla market on a Wednesday and also went to Nicosia for the day.

The apartment complex itself is really nice and kept very clean by the management company. The pool area is very nice and our children enjoyed playing in the pool.

Overall I would recommend this apartment for a relaxing holiday in Cyprus and as a good base to explore the island.

Great Holiday

We stayed in the apartment for 10 days and enjoyed it very much. It was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were made uppon arival, there were plenty of towels, even some to take to the beach, in different colours, so they could not get mixed up. We used the washer and the diswasher and it was ok.The interior is nice, whoever did it, spent attention to details.

There is some books and maps in the living room, so it was eays to get information.

We especially enjoyed the tennis court and played every day. We did not use the pool but went to the beach a lot.

We would come again, if we decided to go to that part of cyprus again. And we would recomend it to our friends.

Cyprus is wonderful!

My husband and I have travelled to Cyprus on several occasions and I have to say that this apartment did not disappoint us. It is well equipped and we were able to stock up on food and drink in the large fridge/freezer and then relax and eat out or in as the mood suited us. The location is excellent and this apartment, although only metres from the pool, is away from the hustle and bustle of its activity when you just want to relax. We ventured north to Famagusta this time and looked at the crumbling hotels in the 'ghost town'. We also visited Salamis (amazing but not so well preserved as many archaeological sites in the south). We will definitely return to this side of the island soon.

The area is famous for some of the most spectacular beaches and clear turquoise waters in Cyprus. Our personal favourite is Konnos Bay. Kapparis is open all year round and is located between the cosmopolitan resort of Protaras and the traditional town of Paralimni. It is a charming coastal village which boasts an array of restaurants, tavernas, bars, sandy beaches and all year round facilities, all within a 15min walk. Perfect for families and couples looking for a relaxing holiday. The local beaches provide shallow water ideal for children and the local 'Zoo' boasts panoramic views over the ghost town of Famagusta. However, if you really want to look at Famagusta from the south, we found Anita's viewpoint more pleasant.

Within Paralimni there are lots of boutiques and shops to spend your days browsing and the market square with a fountain and sheltered children’s play area are ideal to take a break.
