Wyoming Condo Rental Photos and Description

1 bedroom, fantastic kitchen with quartz counters, walk in shower, lovely views

Perfectly located between the town of Jackson and Grand Teton National Park, this 1 bedroom condo is best suited for one or two adults. It's an end unit in a four condo building, and it is always cool during hot summer days with lots of light and views of the mountains. A queen-size sofa bed is located in the living room. The condo has been renovated in the spring of 2012 with a completely new kitchen which features stainless appliances, quartz counters, mahogany cabinets, and a natural tile floor.Also in 2012, The bathroom was remodeled with twin china sinks, w/d, and quartz countertops. In the spring of 2015, the shower was completely remodeled to be a full length walk-in shower tiled from floor to ceiling with tempered glass. The bathroom was painted in a light shade of blue, and all the woodwork in the condo was painted. The bedroom's queen-size mattress has a gel covering over a firm Posture-pedic mattress and hypoallergenic padded mattress pad for a softer feel. The bed linens are 400 thread count sheets (Ralph Lauren/Hotel and similar) with an organic duvet cover, down comforter, and cotton coverlet. The living room is decorated with beautiful artwork by Western artists and a combination of Western and contemporary furnishings. The Sony TV is HDMI (cable) and the accompanying Sony sound bar provides excellent acoustics. The fireplace is especially welcome in the winter months whereas in the summer months we love being out on the deck during the long evenings after we have recreated in the valley or returned from dinner at one of the great local restaurants within a few minutes walk. A large dining table comfortably seats four, and there is a counter with red leather bar stools for eating in the kitchen. The location is perfect as there are tennis courts just outside the entry door, the bike path is adjacent to the Aspens, Teton Pines next door has world-class golf and tennis. There is a coffee house and market + deli a few minutes' walk from our condo, and we are only 4 miles from Teton Village where there is a famous summer music festival, hiking, restaurants, and a chance to paraglide or go up in a hot air balloon. And when you least expect it when you look out the windows, you may see a moose munching on blueberry bushes! World class skiing is just 4 miles down the road at Teton Village and cross country skiers have an abundance of choices of places nearby to ski (or snowshoe).

About Susan McKay

My daughters and I and our dogs have been coming to Jackson Hole for decades. I have lived in Wyoming since 1966, and my daughters were born and raised here. I recently retired from the University of Wyoming where I was a professor for 35 years. We love to hike and bike and eat at the wonderful JH restaurants. Sitting on the deck in the picture is our summer delight as we watch the aspens quivering and enjoy this beautiful place. In winter months, the moutains are clearly visible from the condo.

Why Susan McKay chose Wyoming

The condo is beautifully decorated and so comfortable and convenient to everything. If you want a day at the pool or to work out in the gym, just walk to the Teton Sports Club. If you want to play tennis, just walk out the door! Want to bike ride? The bike path that winds through the valley is accessible directly from the condo. Feel like rafting or fishing? The Snake River is a few miles away and in very warm weather, people like to have picnics on 'Wilson Beach.' There is a nature area on the Snake River with long walks/runs for those inclined, and you will probably see at least one bald eagle. Want to shop or hunt for beautiful art? The town of Jackson is just a 10 minutes drive with an array of galleries and fine restaurants.

What makes this condo unique

We chose this property because we had rented in the Aspens for years and loved the location. When we first walked into our condo, we fell in love with its quiet beauty and the views (though the aspen trees have grown since then and the view is now best in the winter when the leaves are gone). Since then, we've made many upgrades -- most recently in 2015.

It was a wonderful Condo

My husband and I stayed in this condo in June and it was everything the owners claims. It is a beautiful, clean, and a comfortable place to stay as you travel in this area. The neighborhood was so nice for quiet evening walks at the foothills of the Tetons. The location of her place is easy to get to and it was conveniently located to everything in the area. Susan was great to work with and very efficient and kind. We would totally recommend this condo as a great place to stay! Her extra touches were great; 2 water bottles in the fridge for us, nice quality soaps in the bathroom and nice bedding to finish off your day. Thank you Susan for sharing your Condo with us.

Very Nice!

We enjoyed our stay! The condo was super clean and felt like home. It is in a good, central location, and still not in too busy of an area, which was very nice. I would not hesitate to stay there again when we go to Jackson Hole in the future.

Amazing Clean Condo, conveniently located between Jackson and Teton village.

I booked this condo last minute, was very fortunate that it was still available. Susan is an amazing host, and made sure everything was smooth and easy. She even left behind some laundry detergent to accommodate my request to do laundry.

After I booked the condo, Susan called me to introduce herself and learn more about me, excellent personal touch.

I love the notes around the house that explain how to operate things etc. Makes it easy!

The condo is very clean and modern, cool artwork on the walls as well. Can't go wrong with location, it's located in between Teton village and Jackson. There is a grocery store and a nice restaurant just up the street.

Shuttle to Teton village is very convenient, also near the restaurant area, and a 5-10 min ride to the mountain.

Would definitely recommend reserving Susan's place.

Susan, thank you for being an awesome host! We loved Jackson and we'll definitely be back next season!

Clean, easy place to stay

The condo was fine place for me and my son. Good kitchen, nice bath, laundry. Easy to get to the mountain resort as well - hats off to Jackson for an easy bus service too. Market also has good food and is walking distance away.

Owner's Response: I contacted this guest as to why the rating is "4" instead of "5" since all comments are positive. He said the rating was about the weather and ski conditions which were not optimal and that the condo itself was fine.

Owner tried hard to provide quality unit in good location,

however unit construction was sub-standard, cold floors, noise from upstairs unit and toilet waterfall flush above.

Owner's Response: Because my condo is a main floor unit, there will be some sounds from the condo above when it is occupied. As for the floors, there is tile in the bathroom and kitchen which are cool on bare feet. Socks work well! The remainder of the condo has wall-to-wall carpeting so heating the floors should not be an issue.

Car: necessary

The condo is on the West Bank of the Snake River, between Wilson and Teton Village. Access to the Snake River is 3 miles away where there is a wonderful nature area for long walks or bike rides. The airport is a 1/2 hour drive, the town of Jackson is 10 minutes from the condo, and the entrance to Yellowstone is slightly over an hour (depending on traffic). The Aspens is next door to Teton Pines County Club and golf course. Both residential areas have access to a market, sports club with pool, coffee house, small shops, a wine store, and a deli. The bike path goes by the Aspens to the Grand Tetons Park entry going north, to Wilson going southwest and part way up Teton Pass or to the town of Jackson and north from there to the elk refuge and Grand Teton National Park.

You will feel like "home" in this condo as every little detail has been considered to make your stay comfortable. The Aspens is a wonderful location to enjoy all the sights including walking to nearby restaurants, a market, Teton Pines golf resort, and small shops including a fun coffee shop and a sports club. The condo building has only 4 units so there is not a lot of traffic, and the bedroom window faces a tennis court and views of Teton Pines. The Snake River and Emily's Pond is a wonderful place for nature lovers, and it is only 3 miles. The bike path is a short walk/bike ride and weaves throughout the valley. You can quickly be in Wilson -- only 4 miles away -- for coffee at Pearl Street Bagels or Nora's for breakfast. For hikers, there is access to many trails not far from the condo --either on Teton Pass (just past Wilson) or in GTNP which is 5 miles from the condo. Wildlife viewing is ample with moose often seen around the condo with their babies.
