Come visit to Fish/Bike/Golf/Ski in the heart of the Roaring Fork Valley!

Relax at an amazing high end home that features 2 private fishing badges at an angler’s paradise. Our home, located at The Ranch at Roaring Fork, is just off of Highway 82 approximately 5 miles from downtown Carbondale; 12 miles from Glenwood Springs and 30 miles to Aspen.

Our custom 3BD/3BA home features high-end finishes throughout. Two spacious Master Suites each feature private bathrooms with stone tile and European glass showers and large soaker tubs. A third bedroom with two twin beds is perfect for an extra couple or for the kids. Marble tile and Alder hardwood flooring is throughout the house. Enjoy entertaining and preparing meals in our well-equipped gourmet kitchen.

For the avid fly-fisherman the Ranch features 300+ acres of ***PRIVATE*** open space including two miles of river frontage on the waters of the Roaring Fork, 8 miles of Sopris Creek and other creeks and ponds on our property. Fishing on the Range is an extraordinary experience; the ponds are stocked with huge trout and the countless streams and fishing holes validate this angler’s paradise. In addition to the Ranch property, you are minutes from the Colorado, Frying Pan and Crystal Rivers--this is why Glenwood Springs is ranked the #1 fishing town in America. The Roaring Fork, known for its Gold Medal waters, holds beautiful trout, some up to 8 pounds, throughout its entire length. Additionally, nearby sections of the Frying Pan River below Ruedi Reservoir provide anglers with an opportunity to catch rainbow trout up to 10 pounds!

Feel like going for a bike ride? We have two bicycles for guest use on the Ranch property. Use the bikes to explore the trail system or discover your favorite fishing holes then return to the house when it’s time to relax. If you bring or rent bikes you can head out to the Rio Grande Trail which you can take from Aspen to Glenwood Springs. If you want something a bit more challenging, there are countless mountain bike trails up and down the valley.

In addition to the beautiful private open space, the Ranch features a 9-hole Par 3 golf course that is fun for all levels of golfers and open to the public. Walk over to the course any time you choose; it’s only a few hundred yards away! Check with the golf shop for current pricing but typically 9 holes is only $20. If you want to play a full round of golf there are several championship courses in the area as well.

Tennis anyone? The Ranch features two sport court tennis courts, and the house comes with two tennis rackets for guest use. There’s also a basketball hoop in the tennis court area for our guests to enjoy.

For skiers, this home is an excellent location. You are only 30 minutes away from world class skiing at Aspen, Snowmass, Buttermilk, and Highlands. Why pay Aspen hotel prices when you can rent a full house for a fraction of the price? Our home is also conveniently located within walking distance to the local bus route if you feel like taking the bus to the ski areas.

Miles and miles of trails and streams will provide you with hours of enjoyment of fishing, hiking, running, or biking. Take a long walk down the river trail and spot a Bald Eagle patrolling the river or Blue Heron working the stream bank. Keep an eye out for other wildlife such as deer, elk, coyote, bear, beaver, and much more!

At the end of a long day, return home to enjoy a crock pot meal or fire up the gas grill and relax on the back patio.

The Roaring Fork Valley and the Ranch are special places, offering a little piece of paradise and a classic Colorado experience. We are happy to offer our home to you and know that you will cherish this place as we have. Enjoy!

Perfect location

  • 5 of 5

We spent 5 weeks in this lovely home and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The home was spotless, the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious. The beds were really comfortable and the walk in closet in the master is huge. However, the best part was the location. I could walk out the door every day and take a long walk along the Roaring Fork River on trails that went for miles. We enjoyed fishing, a little golf (on the property) and just taking in the beauty of Mt. Sopris and the river. Carbondale, Basalt, Aspen and Redstone are easily accessible from this location. It was the perfect get-a-way and we highly recommend this lovely home. The owners were so accommodating and delightful to work with and the manager was available to answer any questions or requests we had. All in all, it was the best VRBO experience we have had to date.

We loved it. Had everything we needed. Very clean, lots of room, easy access off the highway, nice neighborhood. We enjoyed the patio in the backyard. Carbondale has unique cafes to try. Would highly recommend this house.

Spotless & Convenient

  • 5 of 5

This home was one of the most well-equipped homes and cleanest I have ever rented. It was in such a fantastic location for all the places we wanted to visit as well as my cousin's wedding venue in Carbondale. We had such a good time cooking out in the back patio with family. All the beds were comfortable and the the house was very spacious and comfortable. We went to Aspen Mountain on the Gondola and we went to Maroon Bells which is something you don't want to miss. All the towns nearby are so charming. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

Well-Appointed Home & Majestic Town

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful 10 days at The White's in Carbondale. Their home is well-outfitted and very comfortable. We truly felt at home throughout our stay with spacious spaces and all of the necessary details thought of for a comfortable visit. The jacuzzi bath tub was a hit after a fun day on the slopes! The owners and house manager were very easy to work with and pleasant in all communications and we would indeed recommend and rent this home again.

Fantastic!

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful Home in Ranch at Roaring Fork, actually is an understatement. This is a perfectly maintained spacious home with everything you may need for your trip. The fully functional kitchen with every appliance you may need was an extra perk for us for sure.

This home is very centrally located to many attractions and fantastic places to eat but still private enough to completely "unplug" from life and enjoy the quiet views of Colorado in the winter.

The owners are very responsive and helpful, always responding with even the littlest of questions. Honestly we could not have had a better experience using VRBO because of the wonderful, attentive and responsive owners that let us use their home.

I wish I could give this house more stars.
