About Kim McLin
When I purchased this land in 2000 it was a chemically farmed citrus orchard. I made the three year transition to organic, designed and built the home and the gardens, diversified, and Red Tail Ranch is the culmination of those efforts And yes - there are beautiful Red Tail Hawks here!

A spectacular property. Exactly want you want in Ojai
Had a beautiful stay here. I picked this place as a place to propose to my girlfriend and it lived up to the photos in beauty and peacefulness.
Absolutely exceeded all expectations. It was an incredibly relaxing and inspiring property. We can’t wait to come back.
Piece of heaven
The pictures are good but don't quite do the home justice. This property is gorgeous, private and clean. Beautiful rental with open space, gorgeous decorations and the spa/steam shower was a really nice surprise filled with essential oils. We took advantage of the mobile local massage therapist who came to us, Becca (she was incredible), and the personal chef (Robin, delicious) - so it really felt like a true get-a-way. Kim, the owner, was quickly responsive via text in meeting all our needs. Truly an exceptional, peaceful experience and we will be back. Natasha
We stayed at this beautiful property for a long weekend, and were fortunate to have a small family gathering during our stay. The grounds are immaculate, the air is fresh, and everything was absolutely perfect. Kim is a dream host, easy to talk to, and a wonderfully generous person. I highly recommend staying here, and can't wait to come back!
Walking distance to trailheads from the home and then to the Deer Lodge for drinks, dinner & dancing!
