Mary Ann purchased this house in 2012
We chose this particular location to build for its breathtaking views and proximity to the Park and downtown. Having spent most our vacation time since 1986 here in Estes Park we couldn't choose a more comfortable location. Lots of memories and traditions were built here along with tons of outdoor activities to please our large family
The elevation of this property gives a feeling of being 'away from it all'. This is a large lot with beautiful pines and rock outcropping which attracts all kinds of birds and wildlife. It borders BLM ground giving it an even more spacious setting.
Seven Summits was the perfect retreat for our family! The cabin itself is beautifully decorated and equipped with quality furnishings. We had everything we needed! The views from the cabin are so lovely; with all the windows, we felt as though we were living in a painting. We especially enjoyed the cozy living room with the fireplace, the game table downstairs, and the fabulous hot tub. Our group of 8 enjoyed cooking together in the open kitchen with large island while the wind howled and the snow fell, giving us the perfect white Colorado Christmas! We were sad to leave and definitely recommend this house to anyone thinking of going to Colorado. While in Estes Park, we went skiing at Eldora Mountain Resort, visited Rocky Mtn Natl Park, shopped locally and in Boulder, and enjoyed seeing the elk, deer, turkey, bobcats, and various birds. I really appreciated how Mary Ann was so vigilant to make sure we had everything we needed and followed up with us even during that very busy holiday time. We hope to go back - again and again!
My sisters and a few girlfriends and I took our annual "chick trip" to this home in October - and it could not have worked out better for us. Beautiful views, deer and elk galore and close to town. The home was fabulous, roomy and immaculate. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
Our family of 5 (three sons 16,17 and 21) spent a glorious week in this beautiful home! Everything was immaculate, well appointed, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The owners even left us coffee and a coupon for donuts at the local family donut shop - what a nice treat! They were also very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
The upstairs family room was a great place to enjoy the views and relax and read a book. The downstairs rec room was perfect for playing games, and watching movies - all very spacious and comfortable.
All of the beds were very cozy with luxury linens and plush pillows and comforters!
There is a beautiful view of the mountains from the deck where we soaked our tired legs each evening after a long day's hike. The house is in a quiet neighborhood but only minutes from town and the Rocky Mountain National Park. So it's location is superb.
The Park itself is breathtaking! We only wish we could have stayed longer! This house is perfect for exploring the Park and town! We would highly recommend staying here and hope to come back again
We absolutely loved our stay at the Seven Summits...would rate above 5 stars if we could. We are a family of six (kids ages 15, 12, 4, & 1) and between the hot tub, downstairs recreation area, and the beautiful surrounding property there was something for everyone to enjoy. The house itself is gorgeous, beautifully decorated & appointed, and yet extremely comfortable for a family at the same time. The two level set-up...two bedrooms up and two bedrooms down...with family room areas/bathrooms on both floors...made for a very spacious arrangement for our entire crew. A large kitchen area and big tables inside & out were also very accommodating for our family.
The best part of the home is its location. The views from the home are incredible, and it's literally 10 minutes drive to the RMNP entrance station or downtown Estes Park. So you have really have best of both words...easy park access, and then a beautiful house to relax in (the hot tub is particularly terrific) after a long day of hiking.
We are avid "VRBO'ers"...and this is the first time we've ever written a review...as Seven Summits is honestly one of the nicest, well equipped rental homes we've stayed in. The owners were terrific to work with, and we highly, highly recommend. We will be back.
We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Seven Summits this last July with our family of 4 and my sister's family of 4. The house was so comfortable for everyone to spread out and have their own beds and bathrooms. The kids (ages 6 and 8) LOVED the game table, bunk beds and all the area outside around the house to explore. We all enjoyed having a large enough kitchen and tables to have a meal all together, inside or out. The views from the house are phenomenal! The guys took advantage of the excellent location and spent early mornings hiking up Mt. Prospect, right outside the front door. We saw elk, deer and so many other critters from the house and even in downtown Estes Park! Another wonderful plus was being so close to downtown and Rocky Mountain National Park. With smaller kids in-tow, the short car trips were perfect! We were able to have every meal at the house if we wanted, without driving too far to get back out to the fun. The nights at Seven Summits were the most relaxing part of our vacation. We loved sitting in the hot tub looking out at the beautiful rockies as the sun set. It was a perfect summer vacation in the mountains!
We stayed at Seven Summits with our family of 6 (two adults, and four kiddos ages 20, 19, 17 and 16) The house is beautifully decorated, and so very comfortable. We especially appreciated the little touches of home like paper products, laundry detergent, and some spices for cooking. The kitchen felt like I was at home! Everyone had enough space, but plenty of time and space to be together. We loved the games and puzzles being available too! Everyone LOVED the hot tub, and spent some quality time in the hammock. Thank you for providing a home away from home for us Georgians! The location of the house was perfect. A short five minute drive to the RMNP Entrance, as well as just 5 minutes from Estes Park. We hope to return! Thanks to Mike and MaryAnn for welcoming us with coffee and a Donut Haus coupon! They were responsive and available and provided everything we needed for a seamless check in and check out.
We are located in Estes Park Colorado, the 'Gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park'. Excellent fly fishing, rafting, hiking, biking, snowshoeing and sightseeing/wildlife viewing. Oh, and breathtaking golf in the mountains!
