Very clean, friendly staff and a perfect getaway from our kids. Its a great location and a 7 bucks with UBER gets you to the strip real quick. The only downside with Vegas is kids. They are everywhere and parents were out 3am walking around with kids that should be in bed. Shame on them. We have 5 kids and wanted to get away from them for a bit and never in my life would I suggest bringing your kiddos here. Making Vegas family friendly was such a bad idea...On a good note, Ulysses the owner was very nice and called to make sure our check in was smooth. I highly recommend this pad.
My family and I were bringing our son back to college this weekend. The Palms Place was a perfect launch point for everything we needed to get done. The accommodations were excellent, the staff was too! We really enjoyed being off the craziness of the strip but still close to all that Vegas has to offer.
We will definitely stay here again.
The property was very clean and quiet. Ulysses is very nice and accomodating. Would defenitely rent again on my next trip!
The hotel was small, but nice. Love the bed and pillows, it was very soft. The bathroom did not have any counter space, and no bath tub. The kitchen is too compact for cooking. Just big enough to heat your meals.
Overall, I would stay in this location again, but in a different unit.
I wish I can say we had a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, we did not. As soon as we checked in (which was flawless), the room was not what we expected. As soon as we entered the room, we noticed that there was no bathtub. I thought there was one in the room, but Mr. Linares informed me there was not (which was my bad). Approximately 15 minutes into our stay, maintenance was there to fix the bathroom door handle. Upon looking through the room, I noticed the lights did not work and the ice machine did not work. The freezer had stale peas, I'm assuming from the previous renters. When I asked the maintenance workers if they can fix the ice machine and lights, he said he couldn't because it was an individually owned property. They would need to contact the owner before doing any work. Fortunately for us, the workers fixed the ice machine right then. Mr. Linares did leave us 2 day spa passes for the "inconvenience", but unfortunately it was too little too late.
We will probably pay the little extra to stay somewhere closer the strip next time.
Overall, the room looked like the photos. The bed was comfortable and the buidling was quiet. It is an easy 15 minute walk to the Strip, although the road is busy and always felt like one distracted driver could run us over.
The negatives.....the room wasn't overly clean. The shower door did not slide easily, and was difficult and noisy to open or close. The shower handle fell off on the first day, and continued to fall off for the next 3 days each time we showered. Also, there is no fan in the bathroom, although that may be standard in the building.
My husband and I have stayed at Wynn, MGM, Vdara, and Ceasars ( among others) and would return to one of those hotels before staying at the Palms again. Although the price was good, we would rather pay a bit more and stay someplace that is cleaner and more convenient.
