Doesn't get much better than this!

We stayed at the house for a girls getaway and it was perfect! There was six of us and we all had a ton of space which is nice. The house is walking distance from a ton of awesome restaurants and bars. A great location all and all. But what makes the place even better is Stewart. He is incredibly accommodating and kind. I have rented many houses through VRBO and most often feel very much like a customer or just another number. But not with Stewart! He truly makes you feel like a welcomed guest. Will definitely be staying here next time I come through town.

ok stay

Stewart was very nice. However, here are our thoughts about the place: The decor is outdated and cold. The sheets and towels are all different colors. It was hard to tell if the place was very clean. It would have been nice to have more towels and bath mats for when you get out of the shower. The door on downstair's bedroom did not close.

Owner's Response: Thank you Nasim for your feedback and for staying at the property. I value everyone's feedback and I work very hard so that everyone's stay is great. I also address any valid issues that guest mention to improve all guests experience at the property or to address issues on the spot during a guest's stay - I'm available 24/7 for all guest issues. I would like to address some of the issues you wrote about. The decor of the property is mid -century modern. The property contains many pieces of furniture that are authentic mid-century antiques. This style is not for everyone. The photos of the property are accurate. I believe you had the opportunity to view the photos and make an educated decision if the style was something that you would like and appreciate. You also booked the property last minute so I hope you were able to take the time to view the decor and style of the home prior to booking it. There were extra towels available in the extra linen storage in the garage - I actually dropped those off just after check in - I let John know I would be doing this as you were not available at check in as you designated John to correspond with me - I asked him to let you know. So perhaps he did not mention the extra towels or their location? The property was professionally cleaned for your stay as I do with all guests and I believe it was very clean - however if you had contacted me I would have inspected and addressed any issues with additional cleaning that was needed - I would have been happy to do this. I gave John an orientation at check in and said that I wanted your stay to be wonderful and that if you needed anything or if I missed anything to please contact me immediately so I could address any need you had. I never heard from you during your stay on these issues. I now wonder if John passed this info on to you and also wished you would have contacted me regarding these issues so I could have told you where the extra towels were located and arranged for any additional cleaning that was needed and addressed the door as well. The only contact I had with you during your stay was the day before check out and you asked me through text if you could have a late check out and I gave you a late check out without charging you. I also asked you how your stay was going and you did not mention to me any issues you were having. Thank you for your feedback and I wish you and John the very best.

Wonderful property and owner was so helpful

My family and I stayed at this property over Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. The property was great and the owner could not have been more helpful. He responded quickly each time we had a question and even called when we got home to see if we had a good time. I would definitely recommend this property to other families.

Girlie Weekend

We had our annual girlie weekend in San Diego and wanted to stay near the Gaslamp. The place was within walking distance, clean and had everything we needed. We went to the store nearby and bought all our food, drinks, etc. It was nice and comfy to wake up, have breakfast and go out for the day. Plenty of room and Stewart was a text away and always there if we had a question. Great weekend!! Thanks Stewart!!

Excellent house - roomy, clean and conveniently located to everything. Stewart was exceptional - any questions were answered immediately and he took care of everything. Would definitely stay here again the next time we are in San Diego.

Clean, comfortable, in a great location!

The only reason I didn't give this property 5 stars is because I expected to have a washer and dryer and they were not working. Stewart did however offer to provide laundry service if we needed it which I took him up on. Overall very good experience! If you are looking for a place within walking distance to many downtown locations this is for you! Can't say enough good things about Stewart!
