2 bedroom, 2 bath condo in an 8 unit, Spanish-style building. It has hardwood floors, tile, fireplace. Nicely decorated with plants and wood furniture. Living room, dining room and kitchen enjoy ocean views. The master bedroom bath even has a view and includes a walk-in closet. The second bedroom sleeps two in a queen-sized, four-poster bed and includes washer and dryer. There is a wrap-around deck with umbrella, table and chairs and chaise lounge. Includes a lot of privacy and quiet neighbors. Stairs down to the beach next door.
We stayed at the condo for 6 nights and wished it was for longer, as it was such a beautiful location with stunning views across the ocean. The Condo had everything we needed and was set up very well. San Clemente on the North side was a perfect place to stay as it wasn't too noisy and with direct access to the beach from stone stairs to the right of the condo, was a great location to walk along the beach or use a walk way right to the pier which ran besides the AmTrak Train lines. We have stayed in many locations and condos, Houses in the past and have always come away somewhat disappointed as the picture and summary of property did not match what we were getting, with this condo you get what you see and you will enjoy it and want to keep coming back as we do.
The condo was everything advertised and more. The VRBO pictures do it justice with the exception of the sunsets. A single picture cannot reflect the number of amazing evening settings experienced. This unit has everything intact...well stocked kitchen, comfortable eating and living area, washer/dryer, stocked bathrooms and a comfortable master bedroom. Slept great on the kingsize bed. Of course the deck overlook was where we spent most of our time. All of it presented in a neat and clean manner. We simply unpacked and called it home.
The owner was most accommodating and made sure we had everything required including a second key asked for the day of arrival. Access to the beach and walking trail were convenient as well as the pier bowl area of downtown. We ate at Nick's, Nick's South for dinners and Antoinnes for breakfast. Return venues for sure. We kept our rental car in the one car garage which also housed cruiser bikes for use.
Highly recommended for location, layout, convenience, use items and owner stewardship. No hestitation passing this one on to friends and family. :)
Condo was very comfortable and the owner extremely friendly and warm. Couldn't ask for a better view of the ocean! Trains run quite frequently esp., during commuting hours- though not taking away from visit at all (some are louder than others). Would definitely stay here again.
The owner was extremely hospitable and quick to answer any questions. The place was beautifully decorated, felt like home and many amenities were included that were pleasant surprises. The beach was quiet and away from the tourist area. I felt I had my own personal cove. Only a mile walk to the pier along the ocean-front and train-track path was invigorating and unique. I will stay again for sure!
We stayed at this lovely place for three days, the views are fantastic. This place is beautify furnished & comes fully equipped with everything, I mean everything, all the spices & cookware you will need. It is
located near the stairs so you can take a walk along the beach. Fireplace for cozy nites when it gets chilly. Nearby the main street where there are fabulous shops to browse & buy. We are definitely going back to this place, for a total relaxation experience.
Absolutely amazing home. The view is utterly unparalleled when you walk in. It's like you're stepping from the front door, through a long hallway, right into the beach (which is the living room).
The owner did an amazing job at cleaning and making this renter friendly. The decor in this home was wonderful as well, very modern and not over-board and completely tasteless like some of the other homes you can expect when trying to rent this close to water. Almost directly between Sea World and Disneyland, so that was a major plus, and the town in general here is so much more calm than the bigger cities, much nicer for vacation. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to have a relaxing vacation or outing.
San Clemente is well known for it's surfing and family beaches. You can walk the beach the entire length of the city! There is also a bike path, walking and dog walking path along the beach front from north of the pier to the south. Every Sunday there is a Farmer's market on the main street leading down to the pier. This quaint, village street includes many restaurants and shops open 7 days a week. There is fine dining, as well as open air casual cafes.
