Grand Lake Cabin Rental Photos and Description

If your looking for a luxurious quiet retreat with access to Rocky Mountain National Park, overlooking Lake Granby, this home is what your looking for. This home was designed and furnished by the Owner; It is their personal residence and therefore it remains exceptional in both design and features. There are three available bedrooms, each with splendid views and private baths for each room. The Great Room overlooks Lake Granby . A large deck, great for entertaining is just off of the adjacent Dining Room. The Kitchen overlooks the great room and has all the appliances you will need for that special home cooked meal, granite counters, and custom cabinetry. The main floor master bedroom is spacious with its own fireplace and sitting area. The master bathroom includes a steam shower and free standing clawfoot tub. The home is accessible year round with county maintained & plowed roads to the driveway. Enjoy the convenience of Downtown Grand Lake with the lakeside boardwalk, shops, restaurants, art galleries and the theatre; for some old fashion fun be sure to stop by Old Time Photography on the board walk, all are minutes from this vacation rental! With all the amenities and convenience of its location. Bring along your fishing gear and fish for Kokanne salmon, rainbow, brown, brook and lake trout right at the beach or a few yards away in the East Inlet. Bring that big one home for dinner and BBQ it right on the deck.

All four seasons are enjoyed and appreciated in this home. It is a great gathering place, whether for relaxation, fun, beauty, nature or to create memories of a lifetime. Our favorites are tubing down our road in the winter , then relaxing in the Hot Tub and sitting by the fire, and the fabulous view from the deck.

Just minutes from the town of Grand Lake and the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Grand Lake provides a classic ''old west'' town ambiance and fun for the whole family. Navigate between Shadow Mountain Lake and Grand Lake through the canal to enjoy shopping, dinner and ice cream in town.

We hope to provide an unforgettable vacation for you and fulfill your dreams! We will Personally take care of your vacation needs and not managed by a company!

Perfect location, beautiful view, comfortable home!

  • 5 of 5

Everything about this home was wonderful for our two families (four adults, four kids). The beds were comfortable, the sheets and towels were high-quality, and the kitchen had every pot, pan, or appliance we could want. The outdoor grill worked like a charm. The bathrooms included great soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. The steam shower was luxurious, and the hot tub was relaxing. The beautiful windows opened to allow lovely mountain breezes.

This perfect house is also in the perfect location. There is no better way to start a day than by enjoying a cup of coffee while gazing at Lake Granby and the surrounding mountains. The house is near the towns of Granby and Grand Lake--we could shop, eat out, buy groceries, rent a boat, hike a trial, or go kart within minutes. Even better, within ten minutes we were at the west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park (which is far less crowded than the east side). We saw elk, deer, mule deer, and moose. We took advantage of the park ranger programs to learn about the wildlife and wildflowers. The house is convenient to all of these things, but it is secluded enough that at night we turned off the porch light and saw every star in the sky.

Curtis was responsive, and he quickly answered each of our questions. He helped us find restaurants, stores, and trails. He checked to make sure that we had what we needed.

We would not hesitate to recommend this house, and we hope to make it back for another Colorado vacation soon!

Curtis was very responsive and always available to answer questions and get us settled.

Perfect view of the mountains on the deck or from dinner table.

Easy access to Lake Granby or Shadow Mountain, as well as Grand Lake town.

I'd recommend staying here to anyone.

Beautiful cabin with a fantastic view!

  • 5 of 5

Curtis was a delight to work with. He answered all of my questions and was always available during our stay. His cabin was beautiful and the perfect place for my husband's surprise birthday getaway. The sheets on all of the beds in the bedrooms were amazing and everyone in our party raved about them! We will definitely keep Curtis and his cabin in mind for any future trips to Grand Lake! Thank you Curtis!

Amazing getaway!!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I live in Denver and we hosted an annual ski trip with a few of our closest friends and family with kids. We skied for about 4 days in Granby ranch (15 minutes away) which is a great ski resort for all level skiers, especially beginners and just skiers that want to beat the crowds (plus it's quite cheap!!). We have had an eye on this cabin for a year and we finally made it a reality this past january 2016. First of all the pictures posted are awesome but do not do justice to the actual beauty of this cabin. The views are just breathtaking. We just love having breakfast on that gorgeous "nook" like where the dining room is located. The bedrooms were very comfy, the fireplace was great and amenities were awesome. The cabin was fully loaded with everything you could possibly need, it even has a wine fridge! From the hot tub to the fact that there were all kinds of toys for the kids as well as movies, this was a great experience. Curtis was very helpful with instructions and responded to every mail very promptly. Overall we can rate this cabin with a perfect score!! Highly recommended and we will definitely be coming back for summer and winter again and again and again... Thank you Curtis!

I was my sisters invitee. I have shared this link with many people I work with at a big company because everyone deserves a nice break in a great home like this. Also got great decorating ideas for my house.

Incredible lake views

  • 4 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Curtis' lovely home. It is a great location with wonderful views of Lake Granby. His home is very comfortable and there was plenty of room for our 6 adults and 3 children. We all had ample privacy and the girls loved the big room downstairs. There are 3 large bathrooms that are beautifully done. Curtis is very professional and responsive. The kitchen was well equipped as well. The only thing we lacked were large wine glasses.

The only negative was the quality of the mattresses. We found both of the king size mattresses in the bedrooms to be too soft and basically worn out. I did not check out the queen bed but our kids did not complain about it.

We would definitely recommend this lovely home and the Grand Lake area!
