No need for a car as you can walk everywhere- Stanley park, Robson Street for shopping and entertainment. Beaches 5 minutes away, bicycle rentals around the corner, fantastique restaurants abound as well as a profileration of coffee shops......
From this location you can explore the local mountains all year around, Whistler- home of the 2010 Winter Olympics, or take a Ferry across to Vancouver Island and all it's bountiful beauty
We're having a wonderful time in Vancouver and enjoying your apartment especially the location. It's been fantastic especially as we enjoy walking and have found it very convenient to everywhere. We rode bikes to the MOA, went to see Avenue Q at Granville and despite a couple of wet days, it hasn't stopped us walking around the harbour and city areas.
Thursday we have to leave to catch our flight by 8am and will leave keys inside.
Your apartment has been a treat as each day we discover another piece of art or interesting object that I hadn't previous noticed, All good fun. Your Bather's Pavillion pictures make us home sick as we live close to Balmoral Beach and go there regularly walking, swimming or for coffee.

We had the most wonderful time in this flat! We felt as if we fell down the Rabbit Hole and landed in Alice's Wonderland! The apartment was so artsy, whimsical, comfortable, intriguing and down right fantastic! Multiple books line bookshelves, there was an airy, spacious balcony where meals can be shared. No televison or telephone, but a large screen and Apple tv was available. Fast WiFi was nice. Kitchen was well equipped, but don't expect a microwave. Many staples were at hand....loved the Berkey water filter!
The location couldn't have been better ! We really didn't want to do much exploring and besides, in four days we weren't going to be able to see too much of this giant city. We were so happy to walk into Stanley Park every day, exploring new paths and seeing such awesome things. It was a 7 minute stroll to the Park and waterfront pathways. Bike rentals were on the closest corner.
The Safeway grocery store was 4 minutes away, liquor/ wine store was 5 minutes. Multiple restaurants of every conceivable cuisine were located 4 minutes away. ( try the Left Bank)
We will return to Vancouver and this wonderful VRBO.
Sylvie is a perfect host with a wonderful and well located in the , West End. Will definitely return to anther stay.
This condo is perfect for a couple, located on a quiet street with restaurants and Stanley Park nearby. I would recommend any new or seasoned traveler to Vancouver to select this vrbo. Everything offered by the owners was completely true and they were great to meet and very helpful. Thank you and we hope to come back soon. Sam
Sylvianne was a terrific host. Prompt communication during the planning portion of the trip and once we arrived she had an entire notebook filled with information and recommendations about the city. She took us on a short walking tour to get us oriented and we were off to explore!
Sylvianne and Dave's home is very charming and the location is absolutely fantastic--close to everything. We didn't have a car and didn't miss it one bit. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Vancouver.
My husband and I had a great (US) holiday weekend away in the city. Enjoyed walking everywhere with our dog to explore the city. The condo was cozy and Sylvie was so accommodating, even had a bottle of bubbly on the chill for our arrival. We will be back!
Sylvianne goes out of her way to welcome you and make you feel at home. You realize immediately that you are in someone's lovingly cared for home. It has everything you need for comfort...and her patio is a real plus. We fell asleep outside with our books. The apartment is unbelievably cozy and charming. Her taste is apparent everywhere, and such fun! The location is excellent..you would be fine without a car, but the parking was also very much appreciated by us since we were continuing on. Some folks might have a problem with the height of the bed, but it worked for us, and is extremely comfortable...it's a virtual cocoon! We would return in a moment. Many thanks.
