Situated in the centre of Glasgow a short walk from Argyle St. and Merchant City

The apartment is a modern one bedroom flat ideally situated in the heart of Glasgow City Centre.

Secure entry into the building.

The apartment has a lounge area with French style windows overlooking the city centre.

A separate kitchen with modern facilities, including cooker, fridge/freezer, and microwave.

Modern bathroom with a bathtub and shower unit over the bath.

Double bedroom to the rear of the property. A sofa bed in the lounge provides an extra double bed with comfortable mattress.

You could not be any closer to the main shopping area of Argyle Street and St.Enoch's Centre, literally two minutes walk away. The vibrant Merchant City is about five minutes walking away, with numerous cafes, restaurants and bars.

Transport facilities are excellent. Buses, train station and metro within a few minutes walk.Only a few minutes from St Enoch's and Buchanan Street Metro Station, Central Station and Queen St Station.

Deposit is held and returned by Homeaway providing no damage has occurred.

Great flat

Great location. No car needed. Kathleen was great, we were an hour late arriving and she was very gracious about it. Close to grocery stores, shopping and pubs. Will definitely be staying there on our next trip to Glasgow.

Great central location in Glasgow

This apartment is within walking distance of George Square, Central Train Station, Queen Street Station, and loads of great shopping. We quickly found our favourite pub, Cairn Bar, which was about 3 blocks away. The apartment has one bedroom with a comfortable double bed and a pull out in the living room/dining area. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with things to start us out. There are 3 grocery stores within a 3 block radius. We had rented a car, but it was unnecessary. We found we liked taking the train better than driving. Live and learn. This apartment was perfect for us and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be close to downtown. Thanks to Kathleen and John for letting us stay there.

We try to think of providing provisions that we ourselves would like especially after a long flight. Everything is handy and within walking distance from the apartment such as Tesco, Sainsbury and Lidl supermarkets as well as bars and restaurants in the Merchant City. The Cairns bar can be found in Miller Street and Wetherspoons in George Square both serving good food at value prices. Look forward to seeing you both again so you can complete your trip and tick the rest of the sights off your list.

Lovely, homely and well maintained flat right in the City Centre

Kathleen was such a lovely and pleasant host, always available to respond to inquiries. The flat was so cozy and well maintained; located right at the heart of city centre, within walkable distance to all major shops. If I could give more than 5-star, I would.

I would definitely want to stay here again and would recommend Kathleen to friends and relatives visiting Glasgow.

The apartment is centrally located in the heart of the city, within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants and supermarkets. Central Train Station and Queen St Train Station are only a 10 minute walk away and Buchanan Bus Station is around 15 minutes walk away. Just a short taxi ride away if you are arriving with lots of luggage.

Location close to city centre, very clean and quiet

This was a perfect spot from which to explore Glasgow as it is within easy walking distance to the city centre. There are grocery shops nearby.

very comfortable and great location

Due to a family emergency, I had to leave after only two nights. However the flat worked out quite well for me. The kitchen is well appointed. The bed is comfortable. The location can't be beat. The only recommendation I would make is to possibly have an area rug in the living area . I think it would make the room (and our feet!) feel warmer.

Very Comfortable and Convenient

I enjoyed my stay in this flat, it has everything that you require for a longer stay. I travel light so especially appreciated the washing machine! It is right in the centre of town and you can walk to most places. There is public transport available close by for further away travel. Restaurants and shopping are right on your doorstep.

Kathleen was extremely helpful the few times I contacted her and always offered to do more than requested. I was even offered an early check in, very helpful as I had luggage! I would certainly recommend this flat and would stay here again.

My only concern which is more to do with VRBO policies is that I had to wait nearly 3 weeks to have my security deposit refunded. When I contacted Kathleen she instigated a quick response from VRBO and this was returned.

Owner's Response: Thank you for a lovely review. I am happy to help all our guests as much as I can. We like to make them feel they welcome and at home in our holiday flats. As mentioned the flat is situated right in the city centre with everything on your doorstep. No need for a car. Plenty of public transport including, trains, buses, metro and airport shuttle. Early check in possible please ask when booking. VRBO are always updating and improving their systems. Their normal policy is to hold onto the deposit for a couple of weeks until the owner has a chance to look over the apartment for any damage and address any issues. The good news for guests is a facility which is now avaialble to refund after the guest leaves providing there is no damage. Look forward to seeing you next time you are back in Glasgow.

The apartment is located on the 4th floor of the building which has access via lift and stairs. There is on street parking from 1800 to 0800 Monday to Saturday. All day Sunday. Several car parks close by. All bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided free of charge. All electricity and heating costs are included in the rental. In addition, the apartment has all the essentials, including an iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner . Travel cot and high available on request. Please ask when booking. The lounge has good quality furnishings, including leather sofas, Freeview TV, DVD player, There is a selection of DVDs, and books.
