Why Renee Allen chose North Georgia Mountains

Being at this cabin is like being with nature! You will have deer, turkery and other animal right in your back yard. You are only 10-12 mins away from Helen but you don't have the loud noise of being right there. Its a place where you can just sit in the hot tub and melt away all your problems or curl up with a good book on the porch.

Cute cabin

  • 4 of 5

Cabin was nice. Area was quiet. Interior is on the small side but adequate. Very limited sports channels on tv. Hot tub was new and clean. Washer and dryer were newer. Would rent again.

Quiet retreat from life

  • 4 of 5

My kids loved this cabin. The upstairs setup was perfect for them. They loved eating on TV trays in front of the television. Nothing they do at home. The hot tub was relaxing at the end of each day. Kitchen was stocked with all we needed when cooking and eating. Plenty of extra pillows and blankets, if needed. I am sure it could be cold up there in the winter. The A/C worked great when we were home. We did not get to try out the fire pit, it rained every night we were there. But the setup looked great. Maybe on another trip. The only warning I would give people is make sure you bring all the food you need. There is not a store very close to this cabin. At night it was so quiet and peaceful. Would definitely rent this property again if we go back to Helen.

Very clean, quiet, peaceful

  • 4 of 5

We were in Helen for a short vacation, and I found this cabin. It was very clean and had everything we needed, but we never found the ironing board, but we were on vaca so no big deal! We had a little trouble finding the cabin at first but Renee was very helpful and talked us all the way to the cabin. Short drive to Helen, wi-fi was great for the kids. We enjoyed the hot tub! Didn't get to try the firepit. Hope we can stay longer next time and do more. We did tube the river in Helen twice, loved it! and did zip-lining at Sunburst Stables, they were great! Hiked to Brasstown Bald and Anna Ruby Falls. Cabin was very quiet and secluded even with neighbors close by. Had plenty of room for all of us. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was cozy, cute, and spacious

  • 5 of 5

The property was cozy and comfortable. The couches in the living room are huge and a great place for everyone to relax. The hot tub was a huge hit especially when it was chilly outside. There were so many beds that our group of 5 could have easily been doubled. We loved our stay here and we would love to stay here again!

We had a wonderful time in mount Allen! It was 4 adults and 2 children and we had plenty of room to relax when we wanted to. The fire pit area was awesome with little pebbles from the stairs and all around the pit. There were 6 chairs and a table to use while using the fire pit. The hot tob was clean and worked perfect. The grill was nice to have to cook some steaks on. The beds were very comfortable (nice sheets! and plenty of towels for all 6 of us.) We will be going back as soon as I have more time off from work, I want to be able to spend more than 2 days there it was so peaceful! Nice waking up and having the deer right outside the cabin.

Charming Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at this charming, comfy cabin tucked in the woods. There was plenty of room for our family of four, a covered deck with a large table so we could enjoy our meals outdoors amidst the scenery, and the hot tub looked brand new and was very clean. There is a fire pit with seating, perfect for an evening around the campfire, and four rocking chairs on the side of the deck overlooking the property, which was a great place to read, relax, or take in the view. This property is very well maintained. We'd definitely stay here again.
