I'm a flooring contractor/ handiman/ Property manager. I have an identical twin brother, whom is not only my best friend but also my business partner. I'm a very nice guy and have this home set up to entertain, several guests have said "it's the home that just keeps on giving."

I'm resently divorced and starting the next chapter in life. I'm excited I can provide a home away from home for travelers who are tired of staying in hotels, where the pool closes, you share the grounds,pool ,and jacuzzi with lots of... sometimes ...undesireable people. We love the openess of the area,Freeflowing floor plan, and the very tropical landscaping front and rear. lot's of horseback riders, gives you the feeling of the ole' west! This home is perfect for Family reunions, small weddings/receptions, birthdays, and business gatherings.

Just an awesome home to relax or have fun with your family or close friends.

The sport pool is 4' - 5' deep, great for pool vollyball or for the little one's that have a little trouble swimming.

All three of my Grand children have learned to swin here!

All appliances in the kitchen are upgraded stainless steel also gourmet cooking utinsels and gagets!

The front porch swing is exceptional morning or evening, 8' umbrella with table in the back yard is wonderfull for pool side lunches or dinners and of course the large covered and lit patio gives you shade during the day, with very cool ambient lighting at night, and covers the Jacuzzi if it's raining out.

You can be soaking in the Jacuzzi with the outside 42" smart tv or Bluetooth sound system watching your favorite movie or sporting event, or maybe just the music playing, the speakers are right above the Jacuzzi the fire pit lit just 4' away, enjoying the ambiance with the many malibu/solor lights in this large, tropical, very private back yard paradise.

You can just melt away with a glass of wine setting in the jacuzzi watching your favorite movie or sporting event while the custom granite fire/ice firepit is glowing just a few feet away!

If reservations are cancelled within 90 days of check in date , the deposit will be refunded with a $200.00 processing fee. The majority of guests must be over 30 years of age. This home will sleep 6 in beds and has two large sofa's. There have been up to twelve here and somehow they make it work. If there are more than 4 guests, additional fees of $60.00 per night per guest apply. Gas and electric meter reading is done before check-in and after check-out, usage after included rate of 2.0 therms a day for gas and 30 kilowatts per day for electric is deducted from deposit. Some guests have had 0 , some up to $35.00 per night extra and higher.

This is a true home away from home!

I highly recommend this property! This was a wonderful property and my entire family loved staying in this home! It has absolutely everything you need. The kitchen is entirely equipped to comfortably cook and serve your own meals. The outside dining/sitting area is comfortable and also equipped with a TV and a bluetooth speaker system to listen to music outside by the pool! The pool is meticulously kept clean and it is big enough for playing in as well as exercising if you are a swimmer. This home has all the comforts you need: ample bedroom sizes, ample bathrooms, a fantastic rec room with a pool table, dart board and ping pong table, beautifully kept yards, and an outdoor fireplace for nights around the fire. The owner is always available if you need any help or have any questions. The house is in a lovely neighbourhood close to all the amenities you might need!

very comfortable home

Property was really nice, comfortable and clean. One of our guest did hear door opening in middle of night and someone enter home...which was kinda creepy. Maybe it was her imagination. I did ask owner about him staying in camper outside and he informed me, he wasn't staying in it. We did however notice, someone was in the camper. Neighbors were nice and friendly.

Owner's Response: Clara, as explained to you, I stay at my girlfriends home when my home has guests. No one entered the home that I know of during your stay, I also know there are no ghosts, my guests and myself have the only keys. As explained, at times during the day or sometimes early evening, I use the RV as my office, never in the middle of the night! (God knows I need my sleep) I was in the RV in the morning waiting for you and your guests to check out. My daughter and I do the cleaning/maintenance of my home. Your girlfriend/guest had to of imagined the door opening and someone enter the home in the middle of the night, or maybe it was one of your guests that were up and went outside. Why didn't you say anything to me when checking out about the mystery guest/door opening, why weren't the police called, or myself. I'll have to say this is the strangest review I've had in 7 years providing my home to travelers. This is a quiet safe neighborhood. I've owned this home And lived here 20 years. I've never had anything like that happen or have neighbors that has happened too. This mystery occurrence is the strangest remark any of my amazing guests have ever made. I can honestly say, I sincerely doubt that happened. You wrote the home was... in your words ... very clean, really nice, comfortable, can you tell me why you only gave it 3 stars? Just curious.

Overpriced Property in need of deep clean!

Owner asks for ridiculously high deposit and then gives back less than half without any proof of charges. Remember you have no comeback !!!!

Our family of 4 stayed here for two weeks when travelling around America for four weeks. We had no problems with our other rental properties (see reviews). However, this house was different.

The lack of cleanliness, dated decor, poorly maintained pool, bad electrics, noisy dogs, lack of privacy and extra 55% charge deducted from deposit, makes it not worth the rent fee. All 5 star reviews - puzzling?

If you stay here, learn by our mistakes. Take meter readings with Don at start and end of stay and question any extra charges. We believed 32KWH and 2 Therms per day “allowed” by Don would be more than adequate. We hardly used the air con. Don assured us it would not come on when not in house. At end he said “You’ve been out so much you won’t go over fuel charges” but he deducted extra 33% from deposit, though we were out all day from 0800hrs to 2030hrs and only ate in 7 nights. He has refused to provide meter readings ? Don lives in RV on the drive which is plugged into the house using energy!

Highlight anything you feel is sub-standard so it can be rectified there and then. We found quilts etc. smelt musty, cupboards dirty, whole place dusty and vac cleaner crammed with dirt so it wouldn’t pick up. Cleaned these things ourselves to make our stay comfortable. Crockery is chipped and glasses sparse. Utensils are basic. Outside furniture mismatched and old. The pool green in areas. Check house with Don at end to make sure he is happy with it. He told us it wasn’t necessary to check the house, then deducted 20% from our deposit (in addition to the initial cleaning fee) It was cleaner when we left than when we arrived. Don does the cleaning himself !!

Don lives on the drive in his trailer and works on his car or watches TV in the adjoining garage. We found this intrusive. However, ironically, though he was in such close proximity he let the pool go green and unusable for a few days! Don told us to re-set constantly tripping electric breakers, which is unsafe practice and inconvenient when plunged into darkness on a regular basis. (We only used appliances provided by Don). Neighbour’s dogs barked loudly from 05.30hrs, a daily wake-up call.

He deducted bank charges from deposit which we had already paid to our bank but refused to supply a receipt. Funny he didn’t mention this when we paid or whilst we were there!

Owner's Response: O'Brian family, you were amazed with the property when you checked in, and during your stay, when your entire deposit was not refunded, you became bitter. I'm sorry you went over included electric and gas usage, it also took longer than the 5 hours to clean the home to the level you received it. It is stated on the site in many areas in reference to cleaning and utility usage. As the pictures show the home is not dated as you claim, completely and newly remodeled in 2015, I do the cleaning and maintainence myself, that way it's done, not only to my high standards, but to the standards my guests would expect. My integrity, and condition of my home as witnessed by many very pleased travelers stands true. The breaker keep tripping because of to many UK hair dryers and such being used at the same time. The pool has never turn green for the 20 years I've owned this property. I'm sorry you feel your were not treated fairly. Its never positive when your displeased. I have 36 5 star reviews, with many guests that return each and every year. Perhaps a hotel would be better for your family for any future travels. Their were international charges that you were told would be an additional charge. The kitchen cabinets, granite counters were left filthy, as well as the stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and BBQ. I was staying in the trailer because of a very painful divorce, however I do not work on my new truck, or set and watch TV in the garage while guests are at my home as you claim. I encourage every guest to use the E-Check option for payment which there is no charge. I do apologize for any misunderstanding and your bitterness. I provide a beautiful,meticulous,very clean, updated home for travelers, while I try to please every guest and their families , some will not be happy no matter what. It is a shame, you should be embarrassed the condition you left my home in. FYI... none of this is funny too me! Don Kuskie owner

This can be a shared home also. One or two rooms ...Home is located in n/w riverside, just a short walk to Hidden valley wild life area which has miles and miles of horse, bike, and walking trails, R/C plane field, and the Santa Ana river. The view of the mountains and city lights at night is spectacular. Horseback rental is 1 mile away as well as historic old town Norco which is know as the horse capital of the world. Beaches are about 45 minutes drive, Disneyland / Knotts Berry farm 35 minutes, Temecula wine country about 35 minutes also. This is a rual quiet area that is surrounded by mountains and lot's of trails.
