Great location, clean and well maintained

The spot was perfect for all of our needs, with a convenient location, and quite large for the neighborhood. I recommend to anyone who wants to stay in the Williamsburg/Greenpoint Area.

Christmas in Brooklyn

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at a lovely apartment in Brooklyn for a long weekend in December. The apartment was very comfortable and clean, and provided the right amount of space for our family. The location was perfect for dining out, shopping, and taking walks in the park. There was a charming Christmas tree/decoration display just two blocks from our apartment. The choices for restaurants was incredible and within walking distance. We had a wonderful experience !

Cozy apartment in a nice neighborhood.

  • 4 of 5

One floor walk up, clean, close walking distance of grocery store and good restaurants that are not crazy expensive (but some of those as well), and the subway (L train). Felt safe walking both during the day and at night, though we did not stay out late. Met Edyta upon arrival who seemed very sweet and helpful. Bedroom window was on the street side but it was quiet., though windows were left closed. Bed was comfortable. As mentioned before, you walk through one bedroom to get to the other and bathroom is at the other end of the apartment. Might be uncomfortable for 2 couples but fine for a family. Edyta provided a list of preferred restaurants in the area. We would definitely stay here again when visiting our son in Brooklyn.

Convenient, comfortable, and well-located

  • 5 of 5

This apartment worked out perfectly for my family- 2 daughters and my husband (who was there just a little) and myself. There is one very comfortable queen -sized bed in the large front room that looks out on the street. There was just a minimal amount of street noise- nothing to complain of. Adjoining the room with the queen-sized bed is a small room with no windows that contains a reasonably comfortable daybed that can be folded out into a king, though we never did that and so I can't comment. Next comes the living room with a very comfortable sectional couch that makes for great lounging, reading, TV watching, and even sleeping. Keep on walking and you are in the kitchen with a table that seats 4 (4 chairs available). The bathroom is off the kitchen. The kitchen looks out on the quiet, unfinished backyard. Anyone staying in the middle bedroom or sleeping on the sofa will find the apartment to be very quiet. This apartment is best suited to people who know each other well because the people using the big bedroom need to pass through the small bedroom to get to the kitchen and the bathroom. There is a door from the large bedroom to the outside hall, so one could exit the bedroom, pass through the outside hall, and using one's keys reenter the apartment to get to the bathroom and kitchen. There is very little traffic in the building so perhaps this could be something someone could do (but not me). The apartment is very clean and furnished with everything you might need to set up a household for a week or more, except for maybe a dustpan and broom. The owners are next door and are happy to be helpful but are not intrusive at all. The neighborhood is great. It is a Polish neighborhood that has attracted young folk so it feels both authentically Polish, but also cool and vibrant. Restaurants, coffee shops, stylish and used clothing stores abound. There is a lot of building on some blocks, but the area still retains its old-world feel on other blocks. I love the park that is on Driggs if you walk past Nassau a few blocks. The L is about a 15 minute walk and the G is about 10 minutes away. For almost everything you could ever need(juice, beer, tomatoes, pyroshkey, kinder eggs) , check out a tightly packed Rachel's Garden on the corner of Eckford and Nassau (take a right as you leave the apartment and take a right on Eckford, walk a block down street). We highly recommend this apartment, the hosts, and the neighborhood. Wonderful!
