Modeled after our Firehole Cabin (listing #78024) and completed in December 2008, our spacious Buffalo Creek Cabin is perfect for large groups and family reunions of up to 18 guests. It features 8 bedrooms (2 masters), 5 bathrooms, a large deck with barbecue area, and has 3,600 square feet of living area on two levels. Plus, it is in the middle of West Yellowstone so you can walk to restaurants and shopping.
Buffalo Creek Cabin has two entries from the deck to the main level where you will find a large open-concept kitchen, dining, and living room. The fully-equipped kitchen has a stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, 2 coffee makers, 2 crock pots, a toaster, basic grilling utensils, and a generous supply of dishes, silverware, cookware, pots and pans. The main dining table seats 10 plus there is additional seating for 4 at the counter and 4 more at a smaller table. After traveling for a bit, the private laundry room just off the kitchen comes in handy. In the cozy living room, there is seating for 6, a flat screen TV with satellite and a DVD player, and a cozy gas fireplace.
After a full day of sightseeing in Yellowstone or snowmobiling the area trails, guests can head down the hall on the main level to find 2 master bedrooms each with a king bed and full bathroom, a third bedroom with a queen bed, and an ADA accessible bathroom. The rest of the group can head downstairs to 5 more bedrooms (two with one king bed each, two with a king and twin bed each, and one with one queen) and 2 more full bathrooms. There is also a second living area on this level with a flat screen satellite TV with DVD player and 2 sofas with seating for six.
Finally, you will find plenty of deck space for relaxing outside with two picnic tables and a propane barbecue for grilling Montana steaks or those trout you caught in one of the area streams. This cabin also has plenty of off-street parking, free wifi, and a land line phone for local calls. (Please bring a calling card or cell phone to dial long distance.) Additionally, there is wheelchair access from the gravel parking lot to the main living area, one bathroom, and one bedroom.
Please note: Buffalo Creek Cabin is our most popular! From the last Saturday in August until the first Saturday in June, it has a 4 night minimum stay. From the first Saturday in June through the last Saturday in August, it has a 7 night minimum stay and rents weekly Saturday through Saturday. Specifically, the check in day is Saturday at 4:00 pm and the check out day is the following Saturday no later than 10:00 am.
Provided in the cabin: Liquid hand soap at all sinks. Towels, liquid dish soap, dishwasher pods, salt, pepper, ground coffee, and coffee filters in the kitchen. (Please bring paper towels if you need them.) Hair dryer, toilet paper, and towels in each bathroom. Soap and dryer sheets in the laundry.

We began as a one cabin rental operation in 2000, and have since built and/or remodeled 8 other cabins and townhouses on 3 adjoining city lots in the small town of West Yellowstone, Montana. We do our best to offer quality lodging to friends, families, and small groups traveling together visiting Yellowstone National Park and the greater Yellowstone area. Perfect choice for our large group
Our 5-night stay at Buffalo Creek Cabin exceeded our expectations. We had 3 generations: a total of 9 adults and 4 children. We had plenty of room to spread out on two levels, as well as congregate together in the open floorplan on the main level. The kitchen was well-equipped and functional. Throughout the cabin, furnishings and bedding were attractive and comfortable. Detergent and fabric softener sheets were supplied in the laundry room.The cabin's location worked well for us; we walked to many locations including the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center, shops and restaurants. The main focus of our trip was Yellowstone National Park which was minutes away. The office staff was very friendly and helped immediately when we had a question about turning on the fireplace. I do not hesitate to recommend the Buffalo Creek Cabin.

Perfect large family vacation rental
Buffalo Creek cabin was perfect for our 12 family members to stay in for a week. With 7 adults and 5 children there was plenty of room to be together and privacy for all when we needed it. The location in West Yellowstone was very convenient to access the entrance to the park and visiting local attractions like the museum and Grizzly bear/wolf habitat. We would definitely stay here again when our travels bring us back to Yellowstone Park

Fantastic! This property met and exceeded our expectations in every aspect.
Plenty of room for the 14 members of our family. Spacious bedrooms, nice bathrooms, well-stocked kitchen. WIFI and DirectTV were much appreciated. Highly recommend the property and would use it again.

Buffalo Creek Cabin, a great place for our Yellowstone NP Family Vacation
Buffalo Creek Cabin was a great place for our family vacation centered on Yellowstone National Park. Our daughter and her family from Portland, OR; our son and his family from South Jordan, UT; and Nana & Papa from San Diego, CA enjoyed our week together in the Buffalo Creek Cabin. Seven adults and 4 children fit very well into the 8 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. We really liked the large, open kitchen and dining area for our family meals and game times. We also enjoyed the BBQ grill and the Wi-Fi. The location so close to the West Entrance to Yellowstone NP was a definite plus. The proximity to souvenir shopping and the Dairy Queen were also enjoyed by the family.

Additional information about rental rates
Deposit/Cancellation Policy: 1/2 of the total lodging charge is required to confirm your reservation. Final Payment is due 45 (forty five) days before arrival date. Notice of cancellation of agreement is required 45 (forty five) days prior to arrival. In the event Guest cancels a reservation 45 or more days prior to reserved date the deposit will be refunded, subject to a cancellation fee equal to 10% of total rent. If Guest requests cancellation of rental agreement within the 45 day time frame (45 days or less), owner will attempt to re-rent the property. If the property is re-rented for the amount of rents, the Deposit will be refunded, subject to a cancellation fee of 10% of the total rents. If the property is not re - rented to a third party, then the Guest will remain responsible for the full rental amount. No refunds for inclement weather, late arrivals, early departures, or other circumstance beyond the control of the Owner.
