Close proximity to Toronto, great fishing from the dock, and Lake Simcoe a short boat ride away are just a few of the features that make this great property a good choice for a break from the rigours of city life.
It’s an easy drive to Willow’s Cove in the Lake Simcoe village of Pefferlaw. The cottage sits on the riverbank with a good expanse of grassed area for ball games and play, or for sitting out under the shade of the large willow tree that graces the lawn. A boardwalk dock is great for fishing or whiling away a few hours with a good book watching the occasional boat pass by. The waterfront is not suitable for swimming, but there are public beaches within a short drive, or can be accessed by boat from your dock.
The cottage deck has great views of the water and gardens and has plenty of patio furniture (including a children’s set) for enjoying outside time and alfresco dining. Just inside the sliding doors is the neat kitchen so accessing the deck from there is easy for the BBQ chef.
Inside the front door entry is an L-shaped living area that is light, bright and comfortable. A breakfast bar has seating for up to 8 for dining, alongside the well-equipped and up-to-date kitchen. A small hallway leads to two bedrooms and bathroom.
The lower level has a large family room with seating for TV watching and a bar area with stools – there are sliding doors to the waterside of the property. The third bedroom is also on this level.
There is a lot to do in the area from spending time on the beach to exploring with the paddleboat. Well behaved dogs are permitted as long as they remain on the upper level of the cottage or outside.
