Head east on Hwy 401 to Napanee then north on Hwy 41 and you’ve arrived at Beaver Lake. Yes, it’s that easy to find your little piece of paradise! And Beaver Lake View can be your home while you enjoy the water and explore the area.
Easily accessed off the highway yet far enough away to miss any traffic noise, the cottage faces south so enjoys great sunshine and beautiful sunset views from the dock. The water at the shoreline is shallow with a sand and gravel lakebed so it’s good for wading out to deeper water for swimming.
Relax on the deck with a book or move on down to the patio where you’ll find a swing set and some lounging chairs. You’ll probably just enjoy sitting on the end of the dock, dangling a rod in the water and enjoying the view across the lake.
Inside the cottage you will find a comfortable space with open-plan kitchen, dining and living areas and sliding doors onto the deck. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are off a hallway to the rear of the cottage, while the spacious master bedroom and ensuite bathroom are on the upper level. There’s a great space in the mezzanine area for setting up your laptop if you feel the need to do some work.
This cottage has great amenities – satellite TV, Wifi, a well-equipped kitchen and a washer/dryer, so there is not much you’ll miss from home.
The local area is delightful – rolling hills reminiscent of the English countryside, with charming villages just waiting to be explored. Don’t miss the River Bakery and Patio in Tamworth for a fresh loaf or some lemon squares, granola or Jamaican Jerk Patties.
Try a day trip to Prince Edward County and explore Picton, the Lake on the Mountain and a few wineries. Then drive onto the Glenora ferry and cross over to the lake road to Kingston.
You won’t be short of things to do and places to see when staying at Beaver Lake View.
