About the property

4 bedroom with Ocean View

Percy Hill is a beautifully restored century-old farmhouse, located in the southeastern region of Prince Edward Island. The very private 700 acre property features gentle rolling hills and forest. There is an organic vineyard to the south, a small forest to the north and a very large backyard. Built on the top of one of the highest spots on PEI, Percy's offers one of the most spectacular views on the Island. On a clear day you can see Northumberland Strait and the long coast of Nova Scotia. Make yourself at home and take advantage of the generous interiors.

The home has all wooden floors and is decorated with Island-made furniture, antiques and original paintings. While having all the charms of Country living, Percy's has all the conveniences of a luxury home.

Percy Hll is near Murray River, a charming fishing village. Beaches of preference are Northumberland Park, Panmure Island and Poverty Beach.

About Sebastian Manago

Percy Hill is part of the Caledonia Hills property that was purchased by me in the 1990's. After many years of living in beautiful places such as the Black Forest, Barcelona, New York and Paris, I moved to Prince Edward Island because of it's beauty and it's people.

Percy Hill was built as a place to relax and re-charge my batteries. I trust if it did the job for me then, it will do it for you now.

Sebastian Manago purchased this house in 1995

Why Sebastian Manago chose Lot 63

Percy Hill is situated on a uniquely beautiful piece of land. The landscape surrounding the house includes a vineyard, organic fields, rolling hills and protected all the while you can see across the straight to Nova Scotia.

Peaceful, secluded retreat

  • 5 of 5

Percy Hill is a lovely farmhouse on a south-facing hill, surrounded by farm fields and woodland. The renovated interior is bright and comfortable and there are many thoughtful little touches to make you feel right at home. The kitchen is well laid-out and fully equipped. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished (the downstairs bedroom we slept in had an extremely comfortable mattress). There are well-stocked bookcases and a home entertainment center (but we didn't use it much--we preferred to sit after dinner with the lights down and watch the red Christmas lights of the Nova Scotia wind farms across the Northumberland Strait twinkle on and off). Our visit in early- to mid-October was perfect, with warm weather and only one day with a little rain and mist. The number of stars visible was phenomenal! Although many attractions and businesses were closed by the time of our visit, there is so much natural beauty and numerous places to take a long walk that our days were full. Percy Hill is about 30-40 minutes away from the Stratford/ Charlottetown area where we did our shopping. Sebastian is a gracious host who respects his guests' privacy. He welcomed our two well-behaved dogs who loved the place, especially the trails on the property. He was quick to answer any questions we had. It was our first visit to PEI and we are planning our next trip already--definitely worth the long drive from New Jersey! Thank you for the perfect vacation retreat!

Beautifully located, well-equipped vacation home

  • 5 of 5

We (2 families with small kids) stayed for a week in July and loved it. The house is well-kept, well equipped beyond the usual standards (kitchen tools, diaper genie, bug spray, AC etc.) and just beautifully located on top of a vineyard. Sebastian could be easily reached with any questions we had.

Beautiful Century Home

  • 5 of 5

This property was everything we were hoping for. It was away from the city, in the country with beautiful grounds. Driving up the driveway filled with cherry trees you can just imagine the flowers in the spring. The home is well maintained and had everything you could possibly want and even more. It was exactly what we wanted to decompress, there were walking trails just across the road through the trees and fields. The view was beautiful and at night you can see the ship sailing across the horizon. Highly recommend this location if you are looking for something quiet yet still close enough to drive anywhere within a half hour.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this captivating Century-old home. It is beautifully decorated, and is surrounded with many windows, as the natural daylight constantly streamed through. The well kept grounds with the Organic Vineyard are beautiful. The comfortable beds in the lovely bedrooms always allowed for a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, the cable T.V. would not work, but the selection of books to read made up for it. We suggest that there be specific directions as to your location, due to the GPS not working in that particular area.

The perfect famiy holiday house in a healthy and beautifull environment.

  • 5 of 5

The house is very spacious and confortable. You feel right at home as soon as you visit the vast property. Light is every where due to the multiple windows in every room. It gives a joyfull feeling.

The hosts are charming and not complicated. Rain or sun shine, the experience is relaxing and smooth.

On an island where intense and big scale commercial agriculture is the rule, we realy did appreciate the completely organic farming that we found all over the surrounding land. The place is quiet, near all the principal activities and the scenery is remarquable.

We would go back any time and we will recommand the house to our friends and family.

Incredible home-away-from-home!

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here for 8 days while on the Island and was blown away by the home and property. Extremely comfortable and clean, beautifully appointed with all modern conveniences and the charm of a real PEI farmhouse. The owners, Sebastian & Jennifer, were lovely and kind, with lots of advice on how to enjoy PEI. My family and I give the highest recommendation to Percy Hill!!!!!
