This elegant Art Deco apartment retains many original features including mirrored panelled doors, parquet flooring & beautiful cornices. It has an abundance of light streaming through the south-facing windows and French doors lead onto a sunny teak-decked terrace, open to the South & West. The terrace has a beautiful view, 2 sunloungers & a 6-seater table for al fresco dining - an electric awning extends at the press of a button for shade. Accommodation comprises: sitting/dining room with WiFi, 46” HD TV showing UK FreeSat channels and French analogue channels, kitchen with fan assisted oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine & dishwasher, 2 double bedrooms w/king-size beds, 1 bedroom w/2 single beds, 1 bathroom & 1 shower room. The apartment is 95 m2 plus a 15 m2 terrace, which faces South and West.

The building has a lift.

Air conditioning & central heating means the apartment can be used all year round. There is free street parking or a pay garage nearby. No pets please. Not suitable for children under 12 years of age.

Why Jan and Andrew chose Nice

We chose this property mostly for the large terrace and wonderful view. However it also has generously proportioned rooms, has easy and direct transport links to and from the airport and rail station, and is near the town centre. An excellent holiday location.

Wonderful stay in perfect location

Stayed here with 5 friends in August. From the moment we booked we were impressed with the professional service from the owner and the manager who was very also very helpful.

The apartment is beautifully furnished and fully equipped. The air con and shutters to all rooms keep it cool during the day and the terrace gets sun from early afternoon till sunset.

Even with 6 people staying, the apartment had everything we needed.

Location to the beach, train station (we visited Monaco which was only a 20 minute journey and €6 return!), supermarket and old town is great, nothing too far away.

Any questions we had, Pat responded efficiently. Our deposit was returned quickly at the end of our stay too.

Have already recommended to friends and family and I will certainly be booking to come back.

Lovely property, great location, excellent service

This is a beautiful apartment in a great location, short walk to supermarkets, restaurants and beaches. We were met by the manager on arrival and given loads of useful information (she also left us cheese and wine, which was a nice touch). The apartment itself is beautifully furnished with a balcony and a great view. Everything you might need in terms of appliances, kitchen etc was there. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that while we were there the lift (traditional French one) only worked intermittently and the apartment is on the 6th floor, so a bit of an effort with shopping. Would definitely recommend it to others and would go back again for a longer stay

Fantastic apartment

A spacious apartment in a nice neighbourhood situated just 10 min walk from the Promenade des Anglais and 15 min walk from the train station. Nice furnitured with a fully equipped kitchen, it even had a dish washer! The balcony was great with lot of space for six persons and a fantastic view from the sixth floor. The arrangements with Pat (local manager) meeting up and explaining everything worked just fine. The refundable deposit was also paid back after a few days.

I definitely recommend this apartment!

Lovely Apartment

Lovely apartment on 6th floor stayed as a group of 4 ladies for 5 days. It was centrally train station 15 mins walk away, 10 mins to seafront and plenty of supermarkets, just around the corner, around 15 mins walk into the centre, but old town is a bit further. Nice public park nearby which was a great landmark to find our bearings. Outside balcony was great as it got sun in the afternoon into the early evening, all furniture and fittings were excellent, beds comfortable 2 doubles plus 2 small single beds in 3rd bedroom, everything was clean and tidy and little touches especially the supplies Pat the Meet and Manager left on our arrival. Even umbrellas, and beach towels supplied. Pat explained everything and even organised our taxi back to the airport. Also on hand if you needed anything. Lots of cooking pots and utensils in kitchen if you want to eat in. We breakfasted in every morning and balcony was lovely for glass of vino or coffee and a pastry late afternoon/early evening. Plenty of maps and info in apartment and the response rate from owner was 100%. Refundable deposit returned promptly. We travelled to Cannes and Antibes (definitely go there), Ville de Franche all of which were easy to get to by train. We hope to return to NICE as we didn't manage to get to do all we wanted. So much to see, so many shops, so many restaurants. What more can you ask for. Would recommend.

Very enjoyable stay

We were a group of 4 people traveling to Nice at the beginning of March, and we needed to have 3 independant bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a lift in the building, as one person of our group had mobility problems; and all this in a central location, not far from the sea. We found by internet the flat of Andrew and Jan, and do not regret at all our choice. Besides having all the characteristics we were looking for, the flat definitely has a lot of charm, is well furnished, clean and well-maintained. The kitchen is well equipped, and offer all what you need to prepare good meals (including the Nespresso machine...). And on sunny days, the terrace is a lovely place to enjoy a cup of tea or a glass of wine! The "Promenade des Anglais" is a nice 10 minutes walk from the house, and right around the corner you can find a supermarket, "boulangeries" and some good restaurants. And if you have a car, just in front of the building there is a garage where you can get daily or weekly pass.

Pat, who manages the property, (and her husband) have been very helpful to welcome us on arrival and to answer our questions.

In summary, this was a very nice experience, and we would with great pleasure come back to this flat for another stay in Nice.

Wonderful apartment

Everything you need to enjoy Nice. All details were wonderful and exactly as described. The apartment layout, kitchen equipment and amenities were quite conducive to enjoying a gathering as a family. Pat and the local property management staff were most helpful and gracious. Highly recommended! We hope to have the opportunity to return.

The apartment is situated in the centre of Nice in one of the prime residential areas, away from the heavy traffic of the Promenade & other major routes, but still within easy walking distance of the beach & town centre. It is 7 mins walk to the beach and 13 mins to Place Magenta (the pedestrian centre of Nice). The old town, atmospheric, bustling by day and noisy by night, is a 25 minute stroll along the Promenade. Built by the English in Victorian times the wide Promenade with its palm trees is the most impressive on the Riveria.

Just around the corner from the apartment you will find all the shops you require for your daily needs, as well as the pretty, 100 year old Jardins Alsace Lorraine. Buses from there will take you anywhere - direct to the airport, rail station or central Nice, or from the Promenade you can go to Cannes, Antibes and many other outlying villages. Bus travel is cheap; a 1.5 Euro fare is valid for most journeys up to 74 minutes including changes. (Buying a 10 journey ticket reduces the cost per journey to 1 Euro)

Cancellation Policy: Should you have to cancel your holiday for any reason we will return the security deposit - if it has been paid at the time of cancellation. We will then try to re-let your holiday days and if successful, will refund the days re-let.

The 46' HD TV uses a FreeSat satellite dish, which shows channels very similar to UK Freeview via an HD FreeSat box with hard disk. It is possible to view all BBC and ITV regions and radio channels as well as all free-to-air movies. The TV also has USB, HDMI and video ports to view photographs and movies from computer and home video. The DVD player will play DVDs and Blu-ray disks as well as CDs. WiFi is included free of charge.
