Turtle Beach, this 4 bedroom, 3 bath, spacious 2200 square foot condo directly on the Gulf, and all on one level, has that 'wow factor' many vacationers look for. Spectacular views from the open-plan living room with electric fireplace, dining area and kitchen, as well as from the master bedroom and of course from the 42 foot-long balcony, which you can access from either the living/dining room or the master bedroom. The other three east and west-facing bedrooms also have partial Gulf views. The unit was fully repainted and newly refurbished in spring 2012 and largely repainted again in 2015 and in January 2018 as part of interior renovations. Further upgrades finished as of January 2015: new kitchen cabinets, new Black Mountain granite countertops, farmhouse sink; new Mitchell Gold sectional sofa and two glider/swivel armchairs in living room, new sisal rugs for dining and living rooms. Also, in February 2015 new dry bar installed in living room, with Black Mountain granite, including dual-zone beverage center for white wine and beer/soft drinks. New for October 2015 was a GE Profile side-by-side refrigerator with Arctica ice maker.
Changes made in 2016 included retiling the Gulf balcony with Stonepeak Crate Colonial White Ceramic Tile (March 2016), buying a pub height dining table and pub swivel chairs, which afford a fantastic view over the railings when you are seated (Spring 2016), and installing a new master bath glass shower enclosure and tiling that shower area (Spring/Summer 2016). February 2017 changes made included new quartz vanity tops, sinks, faucets and lighting in all three bathrooms, plus tiling the entry foyer outside the front door with the same tile as the Gulf balcony. And in progress in January 2018, retiling the Great Room and hallways with the same Stonepeak Crate Colonial White tile.
This Wi-fi included unit includes a 55-inch Samsung flat screen TV, DVR, plus Blu-Ray DVD in the living room, 40-inch Samsung and Blu-Ray in the master bedroom, a 32-inch Samsung and Blu-Ray in the twin-bedded children's room, and a 40-inch Samsung and Xbox 360 Kinect (make sure to bring your games!) in the fourth bedroom with twin daybed and trundle, which also serves as a game room. Luxuriate on your king-size Westin Heavenly Bed in the master bedroom, or the Stearns & Foster queen-size bed in the second bedroom, which is set apart from the rest of the condo. Two new Simmons Beautyrest Recharge Pillowtop beds in twin bedroom as of January 2015, and another one for the daybed in the fourth bedroom/game room as of September 2015. The master bath has a large walk-in shower, jacuzzi and double vanities. The bath adjacent to the Queen bedroom has a curved shower rod for extra space, and the Jack-n-Jill third bathroom with double vanities links the twin-bedded (kids') room and the fourth bedroom/game room.
The kitchen includes all you need for dining in or just taking quick meals, with a double-door GE Profile fridge with ice maker, Electrolux gas range, new Bosch three-rack dishwasher, GE microwave, toaster oven and toaster, coffee maker, blender, and large Kohler farmhouse sink, with ample stoneware, melamine ware and glasses for all friends and family. The dining table comfortably seats six, plus the adjoining kitchen island has three counter stools. Plus, if you've read this far, automatic BEACH SERVICE INCLUDED--up to six chairs and three umbrellas, for each day of your stay (not available Nov-Feb).
Turtle Beach consists of two Gulf-side buildings of three floor-through units each that sit atop a 30-foot bluff, thus affording breathtaking Gulf views, plus two other buildings of two units each, with the complex's swimming pool in the middle. I am on the third floor, of four, two floors above ground. Parking for you and your guests directly in front of the condo. It is conveniently located 1-1/2 miles east of Seaside and within easy walking distance of Cafe 30A, one of the best restaurants in the area, and The Perfect Pig, which opened in November 2012 to rave reviews and has maintained them since. Goatfeathers Seafood Market, Cafe 30-A and Brozinni's (pizza) are just down the street, as is the nearest bicycle rental shop.
So, location, location, location, plus views to die for. Private beach walkover, for your early morning walks along the beach, as far as the eye can see, late night strolls, or just to laze about. It's two flights down (and up) to the condo, or if you prefer and for those who may need to, you can take the elevator. Or you can just sit and gaze out at the endlessly changing sea and sky from the privacy of your covered balcony, letting your cares melt away with the setting sun. Life doesn't get much better than this.

I had been looking, off and on, for my dream beach home for over 20 years. I started coming to 30A only at Thanksgiving 2010 and immediately fell in love with the emerald waters, sugary white sandy beaches, the amazing dunes and dune lakes, the great food and the wonderful charm and friendliness of the area. Since then I've learned of many great restaurants and lots of local activities that make this place feel special.

This property is one of the few that offered unobstructed Gulf views both east and west as well as directly out to the Gulf below, an ocean-liner view. There is an indescribable feeling of happiness and serenity in this condo. The open floor plan contributes greatly to that feeling.
What makes this Condo unique
Proximity to beach, bikes, tennis, water activities, local restaurants, plus within 30 minutes of Destin/Sandestin to the west and Panama City to the east, offering all the shopping, dining and entertainment alternatives imaginable. This location in Seagrove Beach is close to Seaside and Rosemary Beach, yet distinctly apart and thus a much quieter, residential part of 30A, but one with amenities right close by.

The great escape was a perfect place for a family vacation. The condo was right on the beach with gorgeous views! Everything we needed was there for us including beach towels! The condo has been impeccably maintained and the furniture was comfortable. The owner was easy to reach and very helpful! We has the best time and will definitely return!

The condo name says it all! In the 20 years we have been renting, Scott's property was the first that felt like a home rather than a rental. We all agreed that for our upcoming visits we will check with him first to see if his place is available. It was absolutely perfect. Scott's attention to detail and design were all greatly appreciated.
Great 4th Of July with Friends and Family!
This Condo was amazing and perfect for a family with small kids. It is such a short distance to the beach that it was so easy to go up for naps/lunchtime breaks. The condo was gorgeous and very spacious for even two families. The beach chair/umbrella set ups was definitely a great perk, don't think we could do a trip like this without this perk now. Scott was amazing to work with as well and very responsive.
There are several restaurants walking and biking distance from the condo.. Scott was full of recommendation for restaurants. He also helped me out with recommendations on bike rentals. Def will return. I can't say enough about how amazing our trip was due to this condo and Scott.

Rarely in life is anything as good as advertised, this one is not only as good as advertised but will exceed your expectations! Fantastic views! Steps to the beach! Steps to parking! Top Notch furnishings and attention to detail! And if all of that isn't enough, you get to work with Scott, who is the best host on the Emerald Coast! 30 A is the best area to choose for your family's gulf coast vacation. This is the best unit for that vacation!
I cannot believe it took us all of these years to realize that you don't need to battle elevators in a high rise to have a quality unit to rent on the beach. You will love being on the second floor of a three floor building.

Our group had the best time ever! I can't describe how wonderful our stay was in this condo. I have stayed at several units along the way of 30A and this by far was the BEST! The layout was perfect and 8 were able to sleep very comfortable. The location was perfect to the beach (Right on the Beach) and to all the restaurants. The beach service was the best and had our chairs setup each morning by 8:00am. The Décor was just beautiful, and I cant describe how breath taking the views are from then large deck. I would absolutely recommend this condo to anyone staying on 30A. Thank you Scott! Our group will definitely be back in 2018.

Great Spring Break at The Great Escape
Our family thoroughly enjoyed The Great Escape. Incredible setting...right on the beach, great sunsets, close to good restaurants, moonlit beach walks, kayaked, paddle boarded, great bike path....too much fun!
The unit itself was in top condition, nice furniture, great artwork, comfortable beds, great views from the balcony. And to top it off, Scott, the owner, went way out of his way to see that everything about our stay was first-class....very caring person, great to work with!!
