Buena Vida is located in Cruz Bay and was completed and began renting in late 2010. This is a one bedroom, one bath 1,212 sq/ft Penthouse unit on the top level of the first row of Grande Bay. In addition to having unobstructed views, this Penthouse has a Caribbean influenced design that incorporates airy vaulted ceilings and interior living areas that are surrounded by three outdoor living verandas and decks. The front veranda looks to the west, north and east and has great views of Cruz Bay Harbor, and sunsets over St Thomas. On the east side is a veranda that also has views that stretch from west to east. On the west side is a comfortable lanai (an outdoor living area) plus a sun patio off the master bedroom. The air-conditioned interior contains a second living area, the kitchen and the bedroom and bath.
We are two couples who are old friends from the midwest. We were looking for a great warm place to escape to from the cold winters.

The property is well located on the island and convenient to all services. It is with in easy walking distance from the ferry dock so no car is really needed. It's great if you get in late and are ready to just walk to the condo. The short walk takes you past a number of restaurants and beach bars in case you need a snack or a drink on the way home.
Location close to ferry dock, restaurants and shopping. Beautiful views of St. John, St. Thomas, Cruz Bay Harbor and the Caribbean Sea.
My wife and I came down for a week to visit my daughter in St. Johns and see the sights. This condo is in the best location on the island. Everything is in short walking distance and the views from the condo is first rate! The condo lacks for nothing and has a very comfortable bed. You will not regret renting this condo.
Best vacation I've ever had!
We stayed in this 4th floor penthouse to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. Chose Grande Bay because of it's proximity to all of the conveniences of Cruz Bay and were not disappointed! Very tastefully appointed and kitchen was well-stocked , however we only used the coffee maker and fridge ;) Having a parking spot in the garage allowed us to rent a jeep and explore the island by day and return to Cruz Bay for dinners and walking around the town by night. Absolutely beautiful views from porch and lanai. Would highly recommend. Zozo's restaurant is absolutely outstanding. Reserve a chair at the bar for dinner at sunset! My only complaint was that the condo is located closest to the beach bars, so when there was a live band at one of these places such as Joe's, do not plan on sleeping before 2-3:00am!
