Wall Street Building Condo

  • 4 of 5

My wife and I stayed here for a week during spring break and had an amazing time. The condo is less than a minute walk to the main Vail Village gondola and steps to the free shuttle pickup and main bus terminal. We ate a different restaurant every night and the condo location is unquestionably a 10 for proximity to everything. The condo was comfortable and updated and we'll equipped throughout except I could not find an iron/ironing board. We didn't use the pool or hot tub but watched several folks enjoying it from our balcony. For my wife and I it was great. I think it would perfect for a family with a couple children or teenagers. More than that I think would feel cramped for as long as we stayed but there are enough beds/bunks to sleep 4 or 5 children. Overall though highly recommended and the owner was very nice and accommodating for us.

Great location

  • 5 of 5

The location is almost perfect with the minor complaint that it's on the 3rd floor with no elevator. But we had a great time and enjoyed the place and Vail. Quiet, comfortable and perfect for our family of 5. I'd go back and stay there again.

Amazing location, cozy atmosphere

  • 5 of 5

Recently my family and I stayed here for just under a week of skiing. The location of the condo is key, right in downtown Vail Village, Gondola 1 is about a 45 second walk away- no problem even in ski boots. The condo itself is very cute with a small kitchen, easy to operate fireplace, plenty of seating on the comfy couch and the kitchen table. It was convenient enough that we were able to come back to the condo for lunch and save a few dollars because eating on the mountain gets crowded/expensive. Laundry was conveniently located inside the condo as well and we were able to wash our ski clothes at night, thus not having to pack as much. There is a locker in the building to store ski gear in which is helpful as well. I would recommend if you are going to Vail and plan on skiing the whole time to not bring a car- driving up to the condo is on a pedestrian walkway and can be a little tricky, plus there is a bus service which is reasonably convenient for airport trasportation, as well as getting around to the grocery store and that kind of thing. All in all we were thoroughly pleased with our experience and will definitely be back again!

Location, location and location

  • 5 of 5

The place can not be better located. In the middle of Vail Village, two minutes away from Vail Village lift and one minute away from the main ski rentals, ski's lockers, aprés ski (Red Lion)... The house was clean, comfortable and practical. The broker was always available and taking care of any query. The only thing to take into consideration is that it does not have elevator and it is located in a second floor, therefore moving logagge is hard.

Can't beat the location

  • 5 of 5

This condo is perfect - above Wild Bill's across from the Lancelot building and Pepi's. The location was unbeatable for the price. Our family of 5 fit well into the cozy condo. The bedrooms are tight and there is not much usable furniture for guests (ie dressers) but we used the loft/laundry area as a communal closet which worked fine for us. I am not sure I would recommend this unit to multiple families or multiple adults - it is tight. But, for a family with teenagers and/or younger kids it is great (not less than age three though, the spiral staircase could be tricky to navigate). Easy walk for the young kids to ski school (Golden Peak) and great to have the heart of the Village literally at your door step for entertainment. Both Christy Sports and Ski Haus (steps from the back stairs) offer overnight ski storage so you don't have to lug your skis up 3 flights of stairs. The owner is easy to get in touch with and responsive. We have skied Vail for over 15 years and would definitely rent here again. Highly recommended!

Excellent stay

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four ( 2 adult children) stayed at the Wall Street condominium a few weeks ago for a ski vacation. Our accommodations were excellent. The condominium is one of 8 apartments on the third floor walk up of a building in the heart of Vail with retail and office space on the lowere floors. There are no concierge or other services. Chris helped with all arrangements ( ski rentals, restaurant recommendations, grocery delivery, etc ) I sent about 14 emails to him, so this was no small job! All of the recommendations were helpful.

The location was 1.5 blocks from the gondola when exiting the side of the building. We rented skis as Chris suggested Bridge Street Skihaus which was very convenient for storage. It was a perfect location and perfectly quiet despite being in the middle of the village.

The beds and bedding were excellent. Water pressure and temperature and baths (2.5) and jacuzzis all perfect. The kitchen was a tiny U shape but with a full size refrigerator freezer, modern cooktop, and combo microwave convection oven. We cooked several meals and used the gas grill on the balcony as well. Everything was well stocked. The fireplace made the living area although small, comfortable and inviting.

The only issue would be storage in the master bedroom. There really is not much in the way of drawer or closet space. The bed takes up most of the room. This was not an issue for us but might be for some.

I hope to rent this property from Chris again. I found the property a good value for a very high rent area. Everything was exactly as advertised and Chris was accommodating, helpful, and straight forward.
