Why Hal & Katherine Stokes chose Horseshoe Beach
Katherine & I acquired the home through my parents. Both my sons have grown up coming to Horseshoe Beach for fishing, scalloping and family getaways over the past 20 years. We love the peace and quiet that Horseshoe has to offer. We consider this our home away from home and would love to share it with you.
What makes this House unique
This was my parent's getaway that we enjoyed coming to for fishing trips and the wonderful seafood that was available. No one dreamed when it was purchased that it would turn out to be so enjoyable for relaxing and for water activities. The 4th of July fireworks are displayed from one of the small islands directly in front of our home, giving us a front row seat every year. Our house has seen some changes over the last few years. We've put in some hard earned time and sweat and have transformed our place from a rustic fish camp to a charming seaside cottage with all the comforts of home. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do and hope to see you soon. Just contact us (Hal & Katherine) if you have any questions.

Nice beach cottage in Horseshoe Beach, great location and view
We stayed here for a fishing weekend. Good access to fishing, plenty of room to park cars and boat. Place was very clean and inviting, nice porch overlooking the gulf, nice dock for enjoying the sunset.
Well furnished and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped but small, worked fine for a couple guys whose main event was fishing.
Owners were very responsive and accommodating. Good Value.
VERY PLEASANT AND COZY
We had a great time. It met all our accommodation needs and the owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Even down to the coffee we drink, they pay attention. My dad had a birthday during booking time and they left a Birthday card and gift for Dad. We fished our hearts out!!! The local people around the area were very nice. Would return again.
Campy, comfy and cozy!
This rental was a delight. It was clean and the hosts thought of every little thing you might have forgotten to pack. The bed was very comfortable and the whole place was well outfitted with utensils, spices, condiments, movies, games etc. The view was truly fantastic - sunrise and sunset. We were the for New Years and were prevented from seeing the first full moon due to overcast skies. It would have been spectacular.
Awesome views, small town charm
We loved our stay in Horseshoe Beach! The area is remote and has an old-Florida fishing village vibe that we really enjoyed.
Great floor plan and views!
Well equipped 2BR with wide open floor plan that made everyone comfortable. Beds were extremely comfortable with nice sheets. We scalloped just north of Pepperfish Key and had a blast. Jakes bar was a pleasant surprise with great people. Owners are very nice and helped answer a lot of questions prior to arrival. Highly recommend this vacation spot!
Fantastic property for peaceful getaway
Great location in quiet "old Florida" setting. Very well maintained home with gorgeous views of the Gulf. Well stocked with anything you may need for a visit.
Scalloping during early July through mid September. Nature seeking, relaxing, deep sea and inshore saltwater fishing. Public boat ramp is a block from house. Marina (with lift) is 4 blocks from house. The Shrimp Boat restaurant is a block from house as well.
