Chalet La Couronne is a modern, well equipped home from home with plenty of space for everyone to relax. Completed in 2008 the chalet has been fitted out to a high standard and provides all you might need for a relaxing holiday. Ski in /Ski out convenience via a private ift or 300m walk to the main lift station - adjacent to Tourist information, bakery and La Tzoumaz Kids Club child care (open Mon-Sat 8-5). The expansive open plan living space is conveniently on one level. Four feather filled sofas, an armchair and 3 large bean bags provide ample seating around the glass enclosed central fireplace. This links to the dining area (with hand made oak table seating 12 in comfort) and beyond to the modern well equipped kitchen. Around this wraps the expansive 40m² balcony, picture windows frame stunning views and provide an amazing backdrop. Under floor heating throughout keeps the chalet warm and cosy. Boot warmer, Wi Fi, underground car park and Egyptian cotton linen are other features.

Why James King chose La Tzoumaz

We spent 5 years looking for the perfect ski chalet, we wanted access to a mega-resort, true ski-in ski-out in all snow conditions and a lot of space to laze around in. Our design occupies the prime location on the site giving fantastic open views.

  • Each bathroom has a mirrored cabinet and storage below the basin. All showers have hi-volume 'raindance' heads. We supply Shampoo & Soap.

  • Bedrooms 1 and 2 on the top floor are each 30m² with balcony and fabulous views. Twin beds can be arranged apart or pushed together to make a super king size bed, there is also a 2m sofa/single bed in each room. Bedroom 1 has a large bathroom with bath and shower over, double basins and wc. Bedroom 2 has a shower, single basin and wc. Bedroom 3, is located on the main floor and has a lovely vaulted ceiling. It has a double bed (160cm wide) and bathroom with a bath, basin and wc. Bedrooms 4 and 5 on the ground floor enjoy the wonderful view through double doors. Both have large double beds (90 x 200). These bathrooms are equipped with shower, basin and toilet. Duvets are feather and down, double layer for all year comfort plus 2 pillows. Quality bedlinen and towels are included in the rental price.

Underfloor heating throughout chalet. Ski room with storage for skis and snow boards, stools and heated boot warmer for 10 pairs of boots. Laundry room with facilities. Travel cot, high chair and stair gates available. Ground agent can supply a shopping basket for you on arrival and 2 course ready-made meals on request. They can supply firewood and will visit mid-week visit to check that you are comfortable and arrange for final checkout. Please note all payments will only be by bank transfer to Bank Canonale Valais

A beautiful, welll appointed chalet with stunning views,anideal base for Four Valleys skiing holiday

We are a group of friends and family who love La Tzoumaz and wanted a large chalet so that we could stay together and entertain additional friends also staying in the village for dinner.

Mixed ability skiing so not everyone used the lift to ski directly onto the piste but so convenient for the telecabin and centre of the village.

Very well appointed chalet - each bedroom having an ensuite bath or shower room is ideal, and with a very responsive agent who helped with issues that cropped up during our stay.

Would definitely like to book again for next year.

Très beau chalet ,bien équipé,confortable, bien entretenu.

Très belle vue sur la vallée.

Multiples possibilités de balades en montagne.

Station très calme a cette période, avec peu de restaurants ouverts, mais cuisine bien équipée au chalet.

A recommander pour 8-10 personnes

Great location, facilities and price-quality!!

The chalet is great!! It is pretty new so all facilities are very modern and work perfectly. It is very well-equiped, especially the kitchen and the living space, which are very very spacious and warm. Location is also great, with very easy access to Verbier. We will definitely go back!!

Great chalet, great location, value & luxury!

We were a mixed party of friends including Adults,Teenagers and young children. The chalet more than met our expectations, en suite bedrooms of the highest standard, a large kitchen with high end kit and great dining area perfect for enjoying long evenings around the table. Comfortable, spacious and modern with fantastic views. The local amenities are easily accessed, quirky private funicular direct to the slopes. The perfect base to enjoy the best holiday!

Fly to Geneva with easy transfer by Swiss Rail. La Tzoumaz nestles 1500m above the Rhone valley, half way between Martigny and Sion,linked to the vast 4 Valleys ski area by a fast telecabine. From the top of Savoleyres 2354m the main runs above Verbier are a short ski away. This north facing family friendly mountain has something for everyone including a 10km toboggan run, 3 new snowshoe routes and Heli-skiing from Croix de Coeur. The village has a swimming pool with sauna, kids club (children aged 2-6 open Mon-Sat 8-5), supermarket, restaurants and bars, cash machine, natural icerink and tennis courts.In summer La Tzoumaz is a peaceful haven. Explore the area with fishing, mountain biking and walks through pine and larch forest, alpine meadows and along ancient bisses.

Verbier is 20 minutes away via the summer road and the vineyards of Valais are laid out below where local wines can be tasted. Thermal baths at Saillon are 20 mins away and golf courses (18 and 9 hole) are nearby.

Ski: La Tzoumaz is linked to Verbier and the 4 Vallees. 410km of pistes and 95 lifts to suit all ability of skier and snowbooarder. The 8 person telecabine lifts you from the village to Savoleyres (2354m) in about 9 minutes. from there you can ski the snow sure, family friendly La Tzoumaz side or ski across to Verbier's main runs. The area is a haven for expert skiers with fantastic off piste itineraires including Vallon d'Arby which takes you on a breathtaking off piste route from Lac de Vaux back to La Tzoumaz. The area has extensive snow making facilities. Verbier has a superb snow park with something fun for all abilities (gentle rollers to big kickers).

A new addition in 2009 was the Bar des Etablons situated on a sunny corner of the home run, just above the village (perfect for apres ski). Flights now direct to Sion with Snowjet.

Cleaning is included, Beds are made up for your arrvial. Electricity is charged locally at a cost of CHF 75 to CHF 150 depending on consumption. Prices may be subject to change at the advertiser's discretion. Bookings are usually taken from Sunday to Sunday unless otherwise listed. You will be able to collect the keys from 3pm on your arrival date and must vacate the property by 10am the following Sunday. Please contact us if you would like to arrive outside of these times.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
