This well furnished apartment comprises of a living room, two bedrooms (1double and 1 twin), bathroom with bath and shower, well equipped kitchen, front terrace and a roof solarium. It is fully airconditioned throughout - both hot and cold.

The lounge has two sofas one of which is a sofa bed, a dining table with 4 chairs and a Smart TV with range of channels in different languages, internet access plus a DVD player. There is FREE Wi Fi

The kitchen is well equiped for self catering.

The apartment is on the second floor and there is a private roof top solarium which receives all day sun, has sea views and there are two sunloungers provided. On the roof solarium there are chairs, a table and a good quality charcoal barbecue for roof top dining .

The south west facing balcony at the front of the apartment overlooks a fitness area and is ideal for alfresco dining or relaxing watching the sunset.

A travel cot is available at no extra charge.

Please note that there is a card meter for the electricity. When you arrive there will be at least 10 Euros on the system. You can purchase extra cards - please see our keyholder. There is also a fee of 50 Euros for cleaning and laundry which is to be paid on arrival.

A communal garden area and pool are available for guest use. There are many local amenities within walking distance and many local attractions can be reached by public transport. Although not essential, a car is very useful to access the many local Blue Flag beaches, other family attractions and golf courses.


Water Activities: Beaches - Cabo Roig, La Zenia, Cala Capitan, Playa Flamenca, Campoamor.

Water Park - Torrevieja Aquopolis water park.

Water Sports - Water skiing, jet skiing, dingy hire, speed boat hire, banana boat hire at Cabo Roig marina.

Cycling - There are cycles available to hire ( information in apartment) and there are many safe cycle trails either along the coast or inland along the canal.

Shoppping - La Zenia Boulevard, Habaneras inTorrevieja, The night market in Torrevieja, plus there are many local markets,

Walking: Walking/Hiking and Birdwatching - Las Salinas de Santa Pola nature reserve has many migratory birds. There are many trails in the nearby mountains.

Golf: Golf Courses - Villamartin, Campoamor, Las Ramblas.

Why Karen Carter chose Los Altos

We wished a property that was easily accessible from the airport in a climate with virtually guaranteed sun all year round. We enjoy escaping from the British climate and soaking up the sunshine. The local beaches have beautiful white sand - hence the name Costa Blanca - and are clean with good facilites such as bars and play areas for children. When we have been more active we have explored the area walking or cycling along the coast or inland in the mountains. Torrevieja, Alicante, Cartagena are within an hours drive and have sites of cultural interest plus Valencia is accessible for a day trip.

What makes this apartment unique

We love sitting on the front terrace of our apartment watching the sun go down while drinking a glass of local wine. We also enjoy walking around the area and visiting the many local cafes, bars and restaurants. We love the fact that there is plenty to do whether we wish to relax at the beach or explore the area either by foot, bike or car. When we are in our holiday home we can chill or be as active as we wish.

The apartment is accessed by steps to the second floor and there are additional steps to the roof terrace (good views) which may cause problems for anyone with difficulties climbing stairs. Electricity is supplied through a metered card system. This works by inserting cards worth 10 Euros into the meter. On arrival there will be at least 10 Euros worth of electricity on the meter. Additional cards are available to purchase.

Great apartment!

We stayed 4 night at the end of October in this great apartment. Everything you require is in the apartment, well laid out and a good size. We had lots of contact with the owners before we arrived and Karen in Spain was very helpful once we arrived.

The swimming pool was closed for maintenance when we arrived but this was no problem as the beaches very close by where lovely and clean and within walking distance (20 mins).

This is a lovely apartment and would definitely book again.

Close to all amenities and walking distance to the beach.

The apartment was well equipped and adequate for what we required. The only downfall is the cost of electricity. We spend more on electricity than we expected.

On the whole, we had a lovely holiday and will definitely come back to the area.

2nd year and will be returning for a 3rd

This is our second year returning to this apartment as we loved it so much last year and we felt so relaxed as soon as we were greeted at the airport by Bruce and this is how we remained all holiday. The weather wasn’t as good at the start of our holiday this year but it made us do different things and even though we have been coming to this part of Spain for many years we seem to find different things every year. Not having a car it’s so conveniently located and we done a lovely round trip to Villa Martin one day and walked to Torrevieja and back, the big Saturday market is always worth a visit and a coastal walk is a must taking in amazing views. The apartment is so well equipped and it really is home from home, Sue is so friendly and helpful and it’s a pleasure to be able to enjoy her apartment. We love the very private roof terrace that gets all day sun and we spent most evenings on the balcony watching the sunset whilst sipping wine and eating nice fresh food that is available at the many local supermarkets.

We really can’t recommend this apartment enough so much so we will be returning next year.

Clean sunny apartment

A nice clean sunny apartment. The apartment is a good size, though the second bedroom is on the small size, but fine for children.

The kitchen has everything you need with a good size fridge freezer.

The main bedroom had a double bed with a wooden bedframe whilst the mattress was comfortable the bedframe creaked and groaned every time one of us moved! This good size room would benefit from a kingsize bed.

The air conditioning works better in some rooms than others. The smaller bedroom got very cold so my young son had to use the duvet quilt out of the wardrobe but it wasn't clean.

It has a very useful washing machine.

The large front balcony was lovely and gets the late afternoon sun. We did feel it would benefit from having some blackout mess behind the metal security gate in order to offer some privacy from people going up the stairs and the next door apartment. We could see that most of the other apartments had done this and it made it much more private.

We didn't use the upstairs roof terrace as it had clearly rained and left the floor tiles very dirty and the sun beds as well. But it was a nice size and there was a plastic table and chairs in the storage cupboard which you could of got out and set up if you wanted.

Do watch out for the expensive electric meter this was a first for us and we hadn't encountered one of these before on our other trips to Spain.

The pool and grass area is lovely and a good size. Plenty of room to sit on the grass under the palm trees or under an umbrella.

The apartment is a 6 minute drive to our favourite beach at La Zenia and close to lots of different supermarkets, bars and restaurants.

Sue was very helpful before and during out stay and we would like to thank her for speedy communication.

This is a lovely apartment which we would visit again if a few changes were made.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your positive review. With regard to the few points that you raised we will ask our maintenance man to tighten the bed frame. All the quilts are checked in the autumn and will be cleaned as necessary. It is very unusual for guests to require quilts during the summer as it is so hot unless the airconditioning is set very high. Unfortunately electricity is expensive in Spain and the airconditioning particularly uses a lot of electricity. On average our guests have purchased 20 Euros of cards per week this summer. The card meter only covers about half the cost of the electricity. We are pleased that you enjoyed your holiday and hope that you will rent our apartment in the future.

The apartment is situated within the La Cineulica Complex on the Oriheula Costa south of Torrevieja. La Cineulica is a modern complex with enclosed gardens and pool for residents use only and a children's play area nearby. The surrounding area is primarily quiet residential but within walking distance are supermarkets, banks, shops and numerous bars, cafes and restaurants.

Along the Oriheula coast are many golden beaches many of which carry the EEC Blue Flag. The nearest beaches are 15 to 20 minutes walk and other beaches such as La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Cala Capitan are within a 10 to 15 minute drive. At Caboi Roig beach pedallos, canoes and other equipment can be hired. Caboi Roig and Cala Capitan are our favourite beaches. At both beaches there are play areas for the children and bars in the summer season. There is a foot and cycle path along the coast which has pretty coastal views.

Torrevieja, a lively seaside Spanish town is approximately 15 minutes drive and has lovely beaches, a large marina/port, cafes, bars and restaurants and numerous shops. Other local family attractions include street markets, La Zenia shopping centre, Rio Safari Elche, Aquopolis water park and go karting. For golfers the championship courses of Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor are within a 15 minute drive.

Further afield are the towns of Alicante, Orihuela and Cartagena all of which have sights of cultural interest and shops, restaurants and bars.
