Why Sue chose Sterling
The bedroom is a large space that use to be 2 bedrooms. One side of the room holds a queen bed, 2 end tables, and a double closet. The other side of the room has a twin bed, a small sitting area, and a double closet. In the middle is a desk and the TV, which can be angled toward either side. The bedroom has four windows with blinds and sheers, that let in a lot of natural light. Both beds are very comfortable. There is also a double bed in the family room that is also great for lounging. There is a twin blow-up bed if needed.

attractive, inviting, comfortable apartment
The property was spotless, bathroom clean as my own, quiet, lovely neighborhood, convenient, good parking. Susan is a very gracious hostess and provided everything we needed. Certainly specious enough with comfortable furnishings. Wanted to book another week the following month but was already booked.
I hope to see you all again. It was my pleasure to host you.
Very clean and comfortable
In a quiet neighborhood. Loved it.
Thank you for staying, Laurie. You're welcome back anytime, and I hope to see you again.
Staying in Sterling
This is a beautiful basement apartment in a raised bungalow.
Large windows made it very bright.
Super comfortable bed, spacious bedroom area, large shower in a nice bathroom.
The mini fridge and microwave were a nice bonus in the living area.
Our host, whom we were unable to meet due to our crazy schedule, was very helpful and accommodating.
I would recommend this property to anyone!
Thank you for staying. I hope to see you all again, you're welcome anytime.
It was amazing
We enjoyed staying there and the owner is a very nice person. The place was very clean and organized. The neighborhood is nice. If I come to Washington DC again, I will rent this place for sure.
A Safe & Cozy Haven
This apartment is the lower level of a split level home, but the thoughtful host makes sure her guests have complete privacy. It’s a lovely, peaceful “home away from home”. Beautifully decorated. Everything was clean and comfortable, from the furniture to soft bedding and even robes to curl up in (with a book from the great library that has something for all generations.). The small kitchen area was everything we needed for our short stay - and a rich selection of tea! The host’s recommendation booklet on local eateries and activities was very helpful. The nicest place we have stayed in Northern Virginia.
We had a great stay in Sterling. Sue’s basement apartment was clean, well decorated and very very comfortable. She had the fridge stocked with water and a few sodas. She also had a huge selection of tea and coffee for guests as well as oatmeal and popcorn. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the DC area.
