Peaceful, relaxing Cottage, centrally located on Cape Cod.
This cottage was clean, reasonably priced and very private. Though near a well-used road, it was off-set enough, and beautiful trees, pond and greenery all around. The Happy Fish Bakery just down the road, as well as the Optimist Cafe were well worth enjoying! The ferry terminal over to Nantucket and/or Martha's Vineyard is just minutes away! The decor of the cottage was so inviting! the owner is communicative and gave us our space. All in all, I would return!
Quaint, Cozy, Perfect Getaway Cottage
My husband and I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had at our stay in your lovely cottage this past weekend. We LOVED the cottage!! It was just so homey and well equipped with everything you could need for a stay. The location to all that we we enjoyed was just perfect!! We definitely look forward to a return visit as we just fell in love with the area and your wonderful cottage. Thank you so much for making our first visit to the Cape definitely not our last!
Oh so cute
The cottage on the cape is lovely. It was exactly as pictured though a bit closer to the road and further from the town to walk than we anticipated. We did have a lovely time and enjoyed all the ammenities, privacy and hospitality.
As advertised--very peaceful
This is really a great place. Very clean and cozy. Easy to use with no headaches. It is slightly close to the road but that also makes it farther from the hosts which gives some privacy. Would definitely stay again.
Very quaint, perfect cottage for 2.
Very clean and welcoming cottage.
The outside is a nice touch with table and chairs, grill, fire pit, and some adironaks and even a couple rocking chairs on the front porch. It's close enough to everything but far enough for privacy. Great walk into town to the coffee shop and market. Also found a fantastic organic farm along the way we had to stop at and then again before heading out of town. It's nice to know the owners are close if any any issues arise but we didn't need them and they're far enough that it doesn't make you feel "watched". Will def book again.
Just as lovely as described
My boyfriend and I spent a week in this charming cottage. It was perfect for the two of us. It is located on a main road which made navigating the area very easy. The cottage itself is clean and beautifully designed. We enjoyed the small kitchen. It had just what we needed to enjoy coffee and toast English muffins in the morning as well as reheat leftovers. The freezer was well stocked with ice when we arrived. We made use of the fire pit and adirondack chairs one evening to stargaze. Everything was as described/pictured and made for a really wonderful stay. We enjoyed crossing the street and walking the short nature trail to the closest beach. And it was less than twenty minutes to the busier area of Hyannis to the south, where we took a ferry to Nantucket for a day trip. We also took a drive up to Provincetown for a day, about an hour and a half north east. Overall a very quiet, relaxing vacation for us.
Cottage is located on RT 6A, selected as one of USA's most scenic drives by National Geographic. Noted for quaint New England villages and antique shops. Property is mid-cape and close to beaches, nature preserve, resturants, shopping, whale watching, golfing and biking. Golf courses are everywhere.
Mass Audobon nature preserve trails begin across from property. Heritage Plantation gardens and museum is nearby. Cape Cod Rail Trail starts 2 exits up the highway (Dennis to Wellfleet).
We are about 70 miles from either Boston or Providence and about 45 miles from Provincetown at the tip of Cape Cod. There is a local Airport (Barnstable Airport) about 5 miles away and buses from New York, Providence and Boston are 3 miles away. Ferry's to Martha's Vinvard and Nantucket are 4 miles.
