Panorama :: Views, serenity, comfort, value and close to the Plaza!

Bedrooms 2
Space 1,600 sq. ft.
Property type condo
Minimum Stay 3 - 5 nights

About the property

2 master bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms: Luxurious AND close to the plaza.

Casa Panorama invites you to partake of the magic that is Santa Fe.

The Setup~

Sunrise Master Suite - 1 King,, A/C, private balcony, access to private roof top deck, en-suite bathroom with steam shower.

Sunset Master Suite - 1 King OR 2 Twins, A/C, en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi tub.

Living room: A large pull out couch on the ground level can accommodate two adults.

Ground Floor features: A third full bathroom, an open kitchen, access to the private patio, a fireplace, a breakfast bar, and a dining area.

Rooftop deck, private-walled-in patio, balcony, carport parking for one vehicle, street parking, 10 minute walk to the Plaza, 3 minute walk to the Fort Marcy Recreation centre, 5 minute drive to Ten Thousand Waves Spa, 6 minute drive to the Ski Basin.

From the comfort of two luxurious, air-conditioned 'Sunrise' and 'Sunset' master-bedroom suites, revel in the color and light for which Santa Fe is famous. The master bedroom balcony is the access point to your private roof-top lounge/deck with its 300 degree view of Santa-Fe's ring-of-mountains setting. From here, (perhaps with margarita's in hand?) you can experience first hand the essence of the Southwest: unforgettable sunsets, vast skies, thunderstorms racing across the plains, clear air, and warm breezes.

Casa de Panorama is a multi-level, 1600 sq. ft, 2 bedroom/3 bath, quality condo in an intimate complex 5 blocks from the Plaza.

From the moment you cross the massive fitted flagstones and enter the double-french-doors, you know this place was designed for gracious living. The high beam ceilings and open plan lend a spacious, airy feeling. The living area, with leather sleeper sofa, handmade Mexican arm chairs and curated art, allows you to fully relax and feel completely at home.

Enjoy your own cooking in the state-of-the-art stainless kitchen, to be enjoyed on the private outdoor patio, or simply order from one of Santa Fe's many acclaimed nearby restaurants. The patio makes for a gorgeous lunch spot that features an umbrella table, chairs and a grill right off the kitchen. A full bathroom as well as immediate access to your private car-port (cool in the summer and snow-sheltered in the winter) completes this floor level.

Up the bamboo staircase, the second level contains the two spacious air-conditioned master bedroom suites. The Sunrise Suite -- with long views to the east -- has a south-facing balcony with circular staircase to the roof-top deck/lounge. Its travertine-tiled, spa-inspired bath has a steam sauna/shower, double sinks and towel warmers. The Sunset Suite, with long views to the west, is prepared with your choice of a king, or two twin beds. Its travertine tiled bath has a Jacuzzi-style tub-shower, double sinks and towel warmers.

The home's location close to the Plaza means fine galleries, museums, shops and restaurants are close at hand. Also close by are the Ten Thousand Waves Resort and Spa, hiking trail heads, and the Santa Fe Ski Basin.

In short, Casa Panorama offers not only expansive views of our Great Southwest, but also immediate access to Santa Fe's world-famous, vibrant cultural life.

We can describe the property, but there is an undefinable quality that can only be felt.

***PLEASE NOTE*** The VRBO calendar is not kept up to date for a fantastic reason: if Casa Panorama is not available we might be able to offer you another one of our nearby listings. Please inquire for availability.

About The Owner

I was born and raised in London, England and have lived in France, Canada, and Utah. I've traveled all over the world, but Santa Fe is the place that makes my heart sing! I'm thrilled to be able to share it with you when I can't be there.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2009

Why The Owner chose North Hills

This property jumped out at me from the moment I stepped into it. It's got the traditional pueblo architecture but with a modern twist. It has so much to offer: an open concept, lofty ceilings, natural wood ceilings and trim, a patio, roof deck, three bathrooms and two master bedrooms. Both masters have master en-suites, one with a Jacuzzi tub, the other with a steam shower. Combined with its proximity to the Plaza, the sunset AND mountain views (rare in Santa Fe) the gorgeous square dimensions of the rooms, this spot just spoke to me....

What makes this condo unique

There's not one other property like these Sunset condos in all of Santa Fe. Modern meets pueblo style with natural materials of adobe and wood... beautiful lighting, and comfortable enough for 6 adults. It's the sunset views and extra undefinable quality that makes this spot unbeatable. I've had so many memorable experiences here with friends and family, I hope you get to do the same.

Guestbook comments from the manager

Beautiful condo. Quite residential neighborhood. Easy walk to the plaza and art district. Roof top deck with great views. Our unit had off street parking under a carport. Super nice well equip kitchen if you want to cook and really nice baths. I would definitely stay again, did not want to leave. Owners were quick to respond to any questions.

Casa Panorama has many qualities, but the most appealing is not one with a price tag attached. The sunsets in Santa Fe are world famous, and Casa Panorama delivers. It's the perfect addition to the convenience this location provides for daytime activities.

VERY Disappointed

  • 2 of 5

The first disappointing thing about this place was its location. Unfortunately it is on a VERY busy major thorough-fare heading up to the Ski area, and there was traffic, non stop, very early in the morning thru late at night. And it is a steep hill, so we got all the noisy accelerations going up, and and loud trucks with jake brakes going down....Very disappointed with this. The 2nd disappointing thing was the unbelievably strong smell in the house.

We couldn't figure out what it was or where it was coming from but it seemed to be a cleaning supply or laundry softener, or a combination of both. The cleaning supply closet had the smell very strongly, but it was thru-out the house, and tho we had every door and window open when ever we were there, it never totally dissipated. It got better, thank goodness, over the 4 days we were there, but we always had to have all doors and windows open. I have Asthma and had to use my Albuterol inhaler about 10 times the first evening. My husband had burning eyes and headache that first evening as well. We were also disappointed in the patio. It was filthy and not at all cared for in any way. We love having an outside area to be in , but we were not willing to do the cleaning that would have been necessary to even sit out there. The chairs and table and patio were all just filthy. It was in disrepair as well...un-cared gardening or potted plants. The kitchen sink was also dirty when we got there. We liked the house itself. The bedrooms were nice and the bathrooms were very nice, but there was no where to really be comfortable with the constant loud road noise. We would not recommend this place for anyone who cares about a bit of peace and quiet on their vacation. Would also would not recommend this to anyone who has Asthma or any sensitivity to odors/chemical sensitivity. In general, the place shows a lack of care we weren't expecting at all.

Owner's Response: Hello, thanks for your review. We are going to talk to our cleaning and maintenance crews and addressing your concerns about the overall cleaning, fabric softener and gardening. When you met Justin you mentioned about the fabric softer, but never about the other concerns. We have maintenance staff available and if something is broken we are happy to to fix or address them immediately, as we always do. Unfortunately the chair was damaged by the guests before you and we replaced them with the new swinging chairs outside of the master. Thanks again and wishing you a great season!

Casa Panorama

  • 5 of 5

A recent ski trip to Ski Santa Fe was even more enjoyable due to a stay at Casa Panorama. The condo was very comfortable for a family of four. It was well equipped, with covered parking, convenient to the square and even on the Route 475 to Ski Santa Fe. The arrival and departure were easy. Next visit to Santa Fe, we'll check with Sandra and Justin Greene for availability.

Wonderful condo and beautiful spot in Santa Fe!

  • 5 of 5

Two couples from Va. had a delightful stay at this beautiful condo. It was a warm decor, upscale appliances and baths, and a comfortable walk to all the historical sites and shopping downtown. We also enjoyed the outside patios! It is a place we would definitely revisit! We have used VRBO for over a decade and have never had a personal visit from the rental office with personal and helpful tidbits regarding the area. Thank you Christa! A very memorable vacation!

Very Upscale Condo!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for almost a week for our son's wedding in Santa Fe. The condo was very comfortable with 2 large bedrooms and 2 luxurious baths on the second floor and a full bath on the 1st floor. The kitchen was easy to use (mostly we had breakfast and sometimes lunches there). The rooftop patio and the ground level patio were great! Parking was easy. The downhill walk to the plaza was easy, though the return trip was a little more challenging. The condo is a quick ride in the car to the Ten Thousand Waves Spa. Everyone who visited us at the condo envied our digs!

Casa Panorama

  • 5 of 5

This “casa” was simply charming. It is in a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed going to the roof top where the view is spectacular for the sunset. This place is comfortable with all the amenities needed.

Most of all, Noel comes to greet you and does such a thorough walk through including a booklet with any and all information to make your stay even better from restaurants to understanding Southwestern cuisine and their coveted chilies.

It was a truly wonderful experience.

Casa Panorama Vacation

  • 5 of 5

We loved this place. It was very well appointed (very nice furniture, modern appliances, large spacious bedrooms), very comfortable, and generally quiet (with the exception of some modest street noise). The location was perfect, as it was within easy walking distance to the square and other great shops and restaurants. We found it extremely relaxing. Some places nickle and dime their guests by making guests buy their own general supplies (coffee filter, trash bags, soap, laundry detergent, etc). Not the case here. Noel was great at orienting us to the place (the home and Santa Fe), which really helped us use our time wisely. A visit to 10,000 Waves Spa (about a 10 minute drive away) is a must!

Santa Fe boasts fabulous shopping, world-class museums, unbeatable fresh food, internationally recognized art galleries, and wonderful outdoor activities. Within walking distance of this property you can find The Plaza which is the heart of Santa Fe (the oldest capital in the US!) You are ten minutes from the famous Ten Thousand Waves Spa Resort and 30 minutes from the Ski Basin for fabulous skiing, biking or hiking. Have a stroll in the morning for a coffee and breakfast at Cafe Pasqual's, visit the ShipRock gallery (say 'hello' to Jed!), then perhaps a peek the Georgia O'Keefe Museum. Pick up some unique souvenirs at Doodlet's, then grab a Hatch green chile margarita and tacos al pastor at the Coyote Cafe before you head home to drop off your goodies. It may be hard to leave the roof deck at this point, but there is always fun dancing to be had a the Coyote Den! All are within a 10 minute walk from this gorgeous condo.
