The main bathroom has a bath tube with overhead shower and bidet.

Wonderful Base to Explore Funchal

We spent a wonderful week in Funchal in this very well located apartment. It is a very spacious and clean place exactly like in the pictures. It was easy to booked, to get to and to leave it. We recommend to rent this apartment, overall, great experience and hope to be back again soon!

I would like to say the apartments are well kept and well located. Agreed not for sun worshipers but then that wasn't a problem for us. I had use of underground car park also and if there was anything I would add. It would be that freezer in apartment was faulty. Although as we didn't need it on this occasion it didn't worry me too much. Also perhaps it maybe an idea to supply a fan and complete back out curtains apartment very warm at night and lights at rear do tend to shine through room giving impression of daylight. I would recommend definately very helpful service when we arrived to when we left so no real complaints on that score either. I would also like to draw attention that apartment we stayed in has 2 single beds, we had booked one with double bed. Thanks again :)

Location très bien située dans Funchal proche des grands hotels et de commerces de proximité dont une excellente boulangerie juste au pied. Très calme et bénéficiant d'un parking et d'une piscine. Propriétaire serviable et à l'écoute. A recommander.

Appartement tres spacieux, tres propre, tres fonctionnel idealement situé: assez proche du centre pour pouvoir y aller à pied, commerces au pied de l'immeuble (boulangerie, glacier, epicerie, presse) et tres rapide d'accès via la voie rapide. Bonne réactivité du loueur et accueil sympathique.

Parfait!

L''appartement était parfait: grand (il semblait moins grand sur les photos), calme, avec une grande terrasse (un must!) et bien équipé. La piscine était aussi très bien, il n''y avait pas trop de monde et on bénéficiait d''une magnifique vue sur l''océan. J''ai passé de superbes vacances à Madère! En plus l''accueil était formidable!

QUINTA MIRAMAR 1 BEDROOM - SLEEPS 4

We have to compliment the owner of the Quinta Miramar for our stay a week after the horrendous "floods" in Maderia. Our apartment was spotless, well maintained and in a great location within easy walking distance to many restaurants bars, bus stops etc. Although the underground carpark was exceptionally handy too due to us having a car for the 2 weeks of our stay. Both Ronald and his brother Robert must be thanked for our lovely relaxing stay. Only criticism the apartment is not for sunworshippers due to the lovely terrace area being in the shade (at the rear of the block) but it didnt bother us. Also although the apartment sleeps four with a bed settee in the living area, the bed in the bedroom is not a double (more a 3/4 bed) therefore if 4 people stayed in apartment it would be cosy to say the least.

Excellent service given by owner in booking and returning deposit. Definitely would recommend to family and friends and also would definitely use this apartment again in the future.

The building is located in one of the best touristic spots on the Island. It has the world famous Reid´s Palace Hotel as his front neighbor. It also has next the Pestana Miramar Hotel, a boutique hotel. The building is at 10 minutes walk from cit center. It has several shops in the building such as bakery, coffee shop, supermarket, hairdresser, press, etc. The Lido area is at 10 minutes walk. It is very well located, no car needed if you want to make a relax holidays in Funchal.

Golf: The Clube de Golf do Santo da Serra is ranked in the Top 100 Courses in Europe and has hosted Madeira's most prestigious tournaments, including the Madeira Islands Open, which has been part of the PGA European Tour Circuit since 1993.

The Clube de Golf do Santo da Serra has reached this level, not only with it's tournaments, but also due to every day visitors, imposing its category to an international and national level.

Santo da Serra is ranked as the 12th Best Golf Course among the 75 existing in Portugal.

Palheiro Golf is situated on Madeira Island some 10 km east of Funchal with magnificent views overlooking the town and bay and is set within the stunning 200 year old Palheiro Estate.

The 18-hole par 72 course was designed by Cabell Robinson and opened in 1993.

Palheiro Golf was changed in 2003. Two holes were replaced, and a 6 hole academy course was created. The result is a stunning 18 hole challenge with breathtaking views.
