About Our Location: Sand Dollar Beach Cottage is located at Marley Beach in Warwick. Many readers may be aware of the former cottage colony called Marley Beach Cottages that included Sand Dollar Beach Cottage which has been substantially upgraded.

Steps away from a beautiful and private beach, central to just about everything anyone could wish to do in Bermuda with convenient bus stops at the bottom of the driveway, restaurants within walking distance, golf, tennis, sightseeing and shopping only minutes away..... This is a rare gem in Bermuda for the visitor who doesn't want the large hotel stay and prefers to get out and do their own exploring and discovery while staying in one of the most romantic, private and spectacular settings in Bermuda!

Sunrises, Sunsets and Whales: Sand Dollar Beach Cottage faces south, and no matter the time of year or weather, the sunrises and sunsets are nothing short of spectacular!

Whale watching is wondrous in the springtime, with frequent sightings early in the mornings and early evenings during March, April, and sometimes into May. The whales are often within half a mile of the beach as they come in during the night to protect their young. You don't need binoculars to watch them frolicking, breeching and just cavorting in Bermuda's tranquil and protected waters.

During the summer months, the snorkeling on private Marley Beach is magical. You can even see scores of large parrot fish feeding on the reefs close in to the shore with your naked eye right from the terrace overlooking the beach.

IF YOU HAVE MORE PEOPLE: We also have a studio apartment next door. It's called Sand Pebble Studio apartment with kitchen, full bath, large bed/sitting room, patio and is suitable for two. You can view Sand Pebble on this website property number 400591.

Great location, wonderful views

  • 5 of 5

Very well equipped bungalow with easy access to buses and beaches, lovely sea views and a short walk down to private, sandy beach via a well-maintained walkway and steps. Lives up to anyone's expectations. Just right for two couples, as we were, or for a family.

Fantastic location! Friendly owners! Home from home and couldn't be more perfect!

  • 5 of 5

What a super location. The view is phenomenal and perfect for going down to in the morning with a cup of tea.

The apartment was clean and catered to all our needs.

Totally recommend the bus pass Steve offers. It's right outside the cottage in both directions and very frequent.

We wanted to experience Bermuda to the fullest and this location, you cannot beat. Better than a hotel as it keeps the costs down and our barbecues and swimming with the fishes on our beach were great....even in January!

Can't recommend Steve and Gordon enough. They did everything they could to make our stay the best it could be and very realiable in communicating with us.

We will definitely return....fantastic value for money.

Xx

Dream cottage!

  • 5 of 5

We just took our mom to Bermuda to celebrate her 85th birthday and were fortunate enough to find this wonderful cottage for the week. It was absolutely perfect. The view alone takes your breathe away. Waking up to the sounds of the waves breaking and crashing on the rocks, watching the sunrise every morning, snorkeling from the beach, exploring the beach and finding the ruins of the Bermudian beach club, the central location and access to the bus stop and grocery store were great, the cottage was spacious, comfortable and well equipped, the beds were great! I could go on and on. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

Absolutely gorgeous ! Private beach and perfect location

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I booked this property for our honeymoon. We could not have been more impressed from the minute we walked in the door. The view alone is worth the trip to the island !! We enjoyed breakfast lunch and dinner overlooking the ocean which was fantastic . The property is centrally located on the island and the bus stop is literally at the bottom of the driveway. We considered scooter rentals but once we realized how much we could do on the public transportation system there was no need. We cook most meals wherever we go so kitchen and equipment is important to us. We had everything we needed to cook and enjoy the property. If you are they going out type you are literally minutes away from Hamilton and other restaurants easy on and off the bus route . The only negative we could found was that we could not find any fresh local seafood available for sale which is strange for a small island out the middle the ocean.

We will absolutely be back to Bermuda and most definitely will be in one of stephen's properties at Marley beach.

Everything I had hoped for & more!

  • 5 of 5

I just returned to the states after a week long stay with my sister and her husband at the beautiful Sand Dollar Cottage. The location was a piece of paradise with plenty of room for the four of us. This was my 3rd visit to Bermuda and the best place to stay! The view at Sand Dollar was simply amazing with a few steps down to our own private, beautiful beach. I can't say enough about this beautiful cottage on the hill. Gordon was a huge help and had everything arranged for us before we arrived including food we had pre purchased waiting in the fridge. The proximity of Sand Dollar on the South Shore to all that Bermuda has to offer was perfect. Close to everything. The bus stop was just outside down the driveway. We used it everyday to go all around as it was easy and fun. We saw a lot of Bermuda that way. We were a short walk to Swizzle Inn and a short bus ride to Jobsons Cove, Horseshoe Bay, and Elbow beach which we enjoyed immensely. We took the bus into Hamilton and the ferry across to Dockyard and also St Georges. It was a very easy and fun. I am forever in love with Bermuda and will be returning next year and will definitely stay at one of Steve and Gordon's beautiful cottages again at Marley beach. This was such an incredible place to stay and we were quite content to be there. It also saved us money by not having to eat out a lot. We had the best view on the island so we cooked on the grill every night but one! Morning coffee with the view and the sounds was comparable to none! We even had our coffee on the beach one morning!

At night I kept the screen open and the sounds of the surf lulled me to sleep. We also enjoyed the sounds of the tiny frogs in the trees. There was so much beauty all around and way to much to even begin to describe in this small paragraph. I think this was the best place to stay on the island. If you are planning a vacation to Bermuda, go to Sand Dollar, you won't be disappointed!! Thank you Steve and Gordon! Sand Dollar was everything we had expected!

Secluded gem close to everything

  • 5 of 5

This is a marvelous and well maintained rustic property that provides a wonderful beach getaway. Both the owner and his on-island representative, Gordon Henry, are very helpful. The stairs/pathway to the private beach is still being rebuilt after the hurricane of October 2014, but that's just an added bit of adventure that will be remedied soon. Would definitely go back again.
