Mr Cardenas purchased this apartment in 2011
Central location of Paris, safe, cultural and authentic Paris with a perfume of elegance every streets around
Ideally located, central, safe, walking distance to everywhere, lots of amenities, attractions
The apartment is only 3 blocks from the Arc de Triomphe convenient to Metro & numerous bus lines as well as drop/pickup for Le Bus Direct to/from CDG to Paris. The Poncelet Market is just short walk away for a bit of local shopping. The apartment itself is quiet & calm. The little terrace for 2 people is wonderful to sit and people watch. This was my friend's first time to Paris and she is still raving about the location and the apartment. Mr. Cardenas was a joy to work with and gave a great tour of the apartment as well as giving us recommendations in the neighborhood. Enjoy your stay, you won't go wrong!
Great location. Great amenities. Close to shopping, restaurants and tourist attractions as advertised. So easy to get around as metro is close by. Take an Airfrance bus from airport and get dropped off at Arc de Triomphe. Easy and cheaper than taxi. Quiet, safe neighborhood to walk even at night. Mr Cardenas was wonderful from the start. He returns emails promptly, met us at the apartment, gave great advice--just a great guy. Would stay there again.
I travel to Paris nearly every year in early spring, but this was the first time I have had the pleasure of renting a VRBO property--my first time renting an apartment of any kind, really (I normally book a mid-range hotel somewhere Left Bank-ish or near Montmartre). Well what a very pleasant surprise this turned out to be! This apartment offered me absolutely everything I could ever need (and more) during my usual weeklong stay in Paris. Beginning with Saydo, the apartment manager/agent, who could not have been more helpful from start to finish--to the perfect location: not at all touristy despite its useful proximity to the Arc de Triomphe & the Champs-Elysees. Difficult to pinpoint what it was about it exactly, but I felt myself so very much at home in this apartment--which bears no resemblance whatsoever to my NY apartment, by the way! I can't really explain it, but I was so drawn to this place and was so happy to "come home" to it each evening after my day out in Paris--and very much enjoyed the option of staying in for the evening if I felt so inclined and dining chez moi. Everything about it was just so comfortable, yet elegant enough to entertain in when I invited a local friend over. Everything also functioned extremely well in the apartment: good hot water, great shower, nice linens & towels, good convection/microwave oven, nice little fridge/freezer unit, plenty of dishes, utensils, pots & pans, serving pieces, and lightly stocked pantry items. I never had to search for anything--and best of all, everything was so smartly laid out and organized with good storage space for clothing, luggage & daily food supplies. If anything, I packed more than I needed in my carry-on, as the apartment came so well supplied with guidebooks, maps, shopping cart and even a good handful of English novels! A lovely little outdoor balcony just large enough for two people to sip a glass of wine overlooks the pretty street below in this great neighborhood--which also offered me everything I could possibly need, yet wasn't the least bit noisy or touristy and was a lot of fun to explore. I would definitely recommend the Suite Royale Elysees to anyone spending a week or more in Paris and I have every intention of re-booking with Saydo the next time I visit if the apartment is available. While the website (VRBO) appears to offer many good options in every neighborhood, I see no reason to look any further after finding such a satisfying accommodation in the 17th.
My Wife and I spent 10 nights at this apartment during the initial phase of a month-long trip in France. It came recommended to us by a friend who stayed there last Fall. It met all of our expectations and was perfect for getting to the subway station quickly for day trips throughout Paris. The apartment manager was wonderful. He answered all e-mail questions and greeted us when we arrived. At the end of our stay he again came by and we discussed the "road trip" plans for the next three weeks. He was very helpful in steering us toward very interesting sights within France and tips on the best times of day to see certain sights. The economical cost of this apartment was an added bonus.
My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights (over NYE) at the end of our 5 week trip across Europe. I searched long and hard before deciding on this apartment and I'm glad I did because it was worth it - this place is beautiful and is exactly as shown in the photos... nice spacious living area, cute little kitchen, big comfy bed and all the everyday essentials. Perfectly located near supermarkets, restaurants, and an amazing creperie right outside the front door! Not to mention it's only 5 mins walk to the Arc de Triumph, Champs Élysées and metro / RER, which was exactly what we needed being our first time in Paris. The gentleman who looks after the apartment is very friendly too and gave us lots of helpful information. Highly recommend to anyone, especially first timers :)
My wife and I took my my mother in-law on her first trip to Paris over the Thanksgiving week. We had been a few times before staying in the 6th and the 7th arrondissement. We found this flat to be ideal for our trip! First, it was exactly as it was shown in the photos. The apartment was spacious and quiet. We ate out for most meals but did utilize the kitchen to put together a Thanksgiving dinner.
The location is a five minute walk to the metro and a ten minute walk to the Champs de Elysees. While close to that shopping, the area really offered all the charm of a Parisian neighborhood. There is a grocery and market very close as well as a number of good cafes and restaurants to choose from.
We were thrilled with our stay and would definitely recommend this flat!
The Avenue des Champs-Elysées is probably the most famous avenue in the world and Suite Elysées Royal is a block away from it. This impressive promenade stretches from the Place the la Concorde to the Place Charles de Gaulle, the site of the Arc de Triomphe. At its western end the Champs-Elysées is bordered by cinemas, theaters, cafés and luxury shops. Near the Place de la Concorde, the street is bordered by the Jardins des Champs-Elysées, beautifully arranged gardens with fountains and some grand buildings.
