This is a gorgeous luxury vacation rental where you will feel at home. This house has over 3600 sq ft of living space. It backs onto a ravine and the house only has one neighbor. It is like an acreage in the middle of the city with a quarter of an acre lot.
There are many activities nearby. It is located in the northwest of Calgary in a community called Edgemont.

We are a family of 6. We have 4 children and have lived in this house for 7 years. We have lived in the same community for over 13 years. We have a house at Okanagan Lake in British Colombia where we spend the summers. Our family enjoys skiing, hockey, soccer, disc golf, golf, mountain biking, camping, boating etc. We love to travel and have fun together as a family.

This property offers a home like none other. It is very friendly for children and quiet and relaxing for adults. It is central to everything in Calgary and offers quick access to the mountains. All amenities are nearby.
This house has so many unique benefits including a gorgeous view of the city, a huge back yard that never seems to end because of the ravine behind, and best of all is the warm and cozy feeling inside the house that is perfect for entertaining.
This was a very nice property. It is nicely located which surprised us. From the pictures, we had a sense of being more rural. The insides were just like the pictures depicted. It is fully furnished and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking. We really enjoyed our stay and would choose this property again when we visit Calagry. Communitcation was very good and quick. We rented this home for our girls getaway. The home is very spacious and fairly well maintained. The kitchen was stocked with most essentials. The location is good for access to major routes, but it is noisy as it is adjacent to a very busy throroughfare. The owners were quick to respond to inquiries. There are several restaurants nearby, as well as a major shopping centre. Very quick and easy access to Nose Hill park - excellent for long walks. We would recommend this for a family or group.

Great stay with small children! It was very clean and had many extras that made the stay super easy! We had a small problem with the hot tub but owners came over to correct with in an hour! Great time. Thanks again!!

We found the house to be all that it was advertised to be. Very clean and well furnished. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood.It fits a large group well. We would definitely consider it again if we were going to Calgary with a large group.
We had a family vacation that consisted of 8 adults and 5 kids (from 4 months to 8 years old) so the best part about this property was getting everyone under one roof. Grocery stores were a quick drive away for supplies, Shagannapi Trail was a nice larger road that could get you places quickly. In a pinch hearty chinese food is only a 2 min drive (there was a nice little cafe and a couple gas stations in that same spot). The neighbourhood was quiet and it was easy to go for a stroll and feel very safe.
The house itself had an incredible master bedroom washroom! If you aren't lucky enough to be the guests staying there at least give the shower a try. The rest of the house was well equipped and was comfortable enough. Oddly the linen closest on the second floor didn't have a handle but once you get into there you can spread the joys of extra linens and towels to the whole gang!
The house being in a great location and mature neighbourhood did mean the house was a bit older but it was a good value for the number of rooms and size of house.
The backyard was nice and large to do laps with my toddler and the trampoline was great for the older boys to burn off some energy. The hot tub was good but just be careful with your timing or you might be eaten by mosquitos (that's mostly a welcome to Alberta though, no fault of the property).
A couple notes for future guests is ensure you bring your own shampoo and conditioner along with a hair dryer.
The home phone didn't seem to work (no dial tone) but we had cell phones so it wasn't a concern.

A stones throw from the largest park in Calgary (Nose Hill Park). Airport is a 15 minute drive away. COP ski hill is 15 minutes away. Downtown is a 15 minute drive away. Liquor store is 3 blocks away. Easy access to the mountains. 5 minutes from Market Mall Shopping center. Indoor racquet ball and tennis is 5 minutes away. Within minutes of 3 world class golf courses.
