Overview

Townsend's Inlet House Rental Photos and Description

This well-appointed, unattached custom home is less than 8 years old and features a private, spacious master suite with fireplace, jacuzzi tub for two and a private deck for sunning, snacks and cocktails. This bright, spacious main floor is wide open for relaxing and group dining, including a large beautiful deck for dining al fresco and viewing the ocean. The main floor also features a private sun room with a small TV for kid's movies and quiet time. There's a gas grill on a small deck off the sun room.

You'll love the open and light feel of this main floor; vaulted ceilings in the living room, barn-wood classic dining table for 10 and contemporary granite and stainless cook's kitchen are all made more luxurious with a backdrop of warm hardwood flooring. The three bedrooms on the first floor are well-suited for guests, family and children, with a private bath attached to one suite and a shared full bath (with tub) for the other two rooms.

Enjoy family time or movie fun on rainy days on the 48-inch flat screen TV, or plug your iPod into the receiver and main floor sound system. WIFI included. This house is a must see.

About Pat McKeefery

Our family is a Sea Isle 'generational' family. This is our home, and all of our memories are here -- teaching my boys how to surf, finding breakfast at the little bakery down the street, boating with my Dad and Uncle, or simply grilling burgers out back when all the cousins were in town -- this is what shore life is for our family. For over 60 years.

Pat McKeefery purchased this house in 2004

Why Pat McKeefery chose Sea Isle City

This property is convenient to everything you will need: a family bakery, a grocery store and restaurants, and even bathrooms in a brand new building on the beach. You are a block-and-a-half from both the beach and the bay, and just 8 blocks from the inlet at the Avalon bridge, which features scenic views and access to the more active community there.

What makes this house unique

Sea Isle is perfect for families and couples or friends. Bush's Seafood Restaurant is just around the corner and is renowned for it's famous she-crab soup and seafood. Sea Isle is the 2nd oldest shore town on the East Coast. And you're not that far from Wildwood -- fun rides, great boardwalks and amusements for the kiddies!

Great house in perfect location!

  • 4 of 5

This is the second time we have rented this house. We knew it was a wonderful home in our favorite neighborhood- Townsends Inlet. The house is well equipped with everything you need to settle right in as soon as you arrive. The location is perfect with grocery, deli, ice cream and restaurants all within a block or two. We would definitely choose this place to stay again.

Beautiful and extremely clean!

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful home in a wonderful location. Only one short block to the beach - ideal for us because we have two young children. Also close to Scoops right around the corner for an evening snack. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. Open concept on the first floor with a nice deck extending out front - great place to relax after the beach. Home was very clean and well maintained. I plan to rent again next year. Absolutely beautiful and so well decorated.

A Totally Delightful Place to Stay!!!

  • 5 of 5

Everything you need for a wonderful shore vacation is at hand with this rental. The home is lovely, well decorated, clean, has a great layout, and has a fantastic kitchen. It is a short walk to the beach and to restaurants. Very little traffic on the streets make bike riding a pleasure. Sea Isle City is a lovely shore town and we are going back again next year!

Wonderful Location

  • 5 of 5

Rented this home for a week along with two additional families. Total of 3 toddlers also for the week. The home is absolutely appealing and the open concept really was ideal for the toddlers. Most appreciated was the close walking distance to a great beach location. The Deck provided a great place to kick back and relax in the evening. We could not have been more pleased with this location as our first visit to Sea Isle City. I would Highly recommend this location for any family(ies) who are looking for a nice relaxing vacation location with a short travel into the towns for shopping/restaurants etc...

Come for our beautiful, soft-sand beaches and stay for the wide array of dining options and entertainment and outdoor fun, from 'townie' pubs and bars to upscale dining and shopping or activities full of energy. Atlantic City is a short ride; less than an hour. You'll find live musical acts, comedians, theatrical shows and the most well-appointed casinos east of the Mississippi. So much to do, you'll want to book two weeks!

Our family has enjoyed local seafood purveyors and restaurants for as long a we can remember. We enjoy shopping in neighboring towns, as well as buying our fresh seafood at Mike's locally and cooking in our great kitchen. You have to visit our inland bays by kayak, go fishing, or boogie board and surf to enjoy all that 'the shore' has to offer.
