This property has been family owned for over40 years and is maintained accordingly. The owner lives on the property full time. She recently moved back to San Pedro from her last position in San Francisco because of her love for this quiet seaport village town.

Perfect place to stay if visiting LA area

This studio apartment could not be more charming. It was perfect for my daughter and I when we were visiting schools in LA. It is in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood and the patio with the view of the harbor was a relaxing retreat after our busy days. If my daughter ends up in an LA school, I will be a regular!!

Place was just as advertised - great!

This place is just as pictured and described -- clean, full of character, easy to find, spacious, and in a pleasant neighborhood. View of the harbor from the rooftop was outstanding -- most of our time was spent up there. Also enjoyed sunroom, spacious living room, and all the little touches of the 1940s that were displayed throughout the apartment. Hostess was very gracious, only thing missing in the kitchen was salt, which she happily provided upon request. Highly recommend this place if you love character and great views of ocean and LA!

This is honestly our best experience on VRBO for South CA.

We are going to vacation third year to LA and Orange county and this is our fourth place.

Very clean unit,uniqe layout ,beautiful balcony with ocean view, nice neighborhood and unusually responsive and helpful owner. What else you need ? I hope there won't be a lot of competition with me when I rent this place next time.

Great location, wonderful rooms

Location was easy to find, convenient to places we needed to be, dedicated parking is great, place itself is awesome, older but in fantastic condition, (Stairs were not an issue for us, but could be for others) great views from balcony, wonderful breezes, the neighborhood is simply beautiful we walked different path every morning and the yards are all wonderful. Ellen was friendly host she stopped by to make sure we had what we needed to make our stay a great experience. If I get back to the area I will hope this property is available

San Pedro has so much more to offer, only a short 20 mile drive to downtown Los Angeles with attractions in Hollywood, Chinatown, LA County Museums, and Griffith Park Observatory. In the other direction approx. 30 miles is Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm plus, several public golf courses nearby of this charming seaport town. From the outside deck of this 3rd floor hideaway, you can watch the cruise ships enter and leave the port and enjoy beautiful city lights views. Near to the Palos Verdes Peninsula and beach cities. THIS UNIT MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR VERY YOUNG CHILDREN.

Cleaning Fee $100
Additional Guest Fee $10 per person per night

Top floor unit with two flights of stars to climb up but once there the views of L.A. Harbor are incredible. Nightly rate is $120.00 but that is based on double occupancy then there is a sir-charge of $10 per person for additional occupants. On extended stays based on one adult couple, if there is a second couple there will be a charge of an additional $20.00 per night. We do extend a 20% discount on extended stays of more than 21 days.

The owner lives on the property and when ever possible would like to greet any 1st time guests personally so your expected arrival times are appreciated.

Manager's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
