Lovely property in a beautiful location.
Would highly recommend.
My family of five were more than comfortable in this spacious property.
The three bathrooms were great for my three daughters.
Central location for sightseeing the garden of England.
We arrived at Twitchers holiday cottage in Hollingbourne at 5pm on a Saturday evening. After a long drive with four children and a dog, we were surprised and delighted at how instantly relaxed we felt
The setting is quite stunning, with various fruit trees, ponds and chickens roaming.
The layout of the accommodation is practical, cosy and definitely ample for our family of six.
We find it easier to cater for ourselves on holiday and found the kitchen area to be well stocked with all of the pots, pans, crockery and cutlery and glassware to meet our needs. There was also a plate of delicious, homemade shortbread waiting for us.
Pauline our host introduced herself to us, after giving us about an hour to settle and provided us with information and then remained available but unobtrusive for the duration of our stay.
We had two wonderful days visiting Leeds Castle and then Go Ape, both of which were a five minute drive from our cottage.
The rest of the time was spent playing in the pool, which we all loved.
We had a lovely, relaxing time and enjoyed every moment in this beautiful part of the country and would not hesitate in recommending Twitchers.
Last Easter, we stayed at Twitchers for a whole week. We had a great time. Very beautiful place, very helpfull nice landlady. It is nice to come home to a quiet space after a busy day in London. Not only London is just around the corner, also the nice This place is a place you must book and stay !
Would recommend this property for location and character. Owner very friendly and helpful. Compact kitchen / living facilities for 6 adults. A couple of plumbing issues were well compensated for by a wealth of interesting features in the property which even included original hop oasting markers on beams. Enjoyed great food at local pubs . A great week.
We had a wonderful stay at Twitchers during a week in September. The cottage lies in a beautiful park, very quite. We made wonderful walks in the neighbourhood in the country side. The cottage is very cosy, complete and clean. Pauline is very helpful, she gave us good tips for toristic trips. We hope to return one day!
We have just returned from a wonderful family holiday spent at Twitchers. We arrived at our beautiful holiday home and were welcomed by Pauline who showed us around the old Oast House, gardens and swimming pool. Homemade jam and lemon cake awaited us in the kitchen. The location is great for day trips in the county - we visited Leeds Castle, Canterbury, Rye and spent an afternoon soaking up the English sun at Camber Sands beach. We ate out at the Windmill pub in the village - the food and service was wonderful. The children loved the pool and as the weather was so warm we were in the water every day. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to the UK.
