Great place to stay for vacation!

  • 5 of 5

The place was small but worked well for our family. Most things that we needed were already at the house. The coffee shop, Mobys across the street was a great place to get coffee in the mornings.

Comfy place close to everything

  • 5 of 5

Eric (our host) was extremely kind. We were checking in quite late and he had all of the beds set up for us and left lights on knowing we would be tired upon arrival. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty in the kitchen to cook with. Beach towels to use for the beach. They even have a fun orange tree they allowed us to eat from if we’d like.

We only stayed a couple of days as we went to Universal studios but this was the perfect pace for that. Extremely close in location and even got some great advice from our host about parking.

I would recommend this place and will be back in the future. Thank you Eric for your kindness and allowing us to stay in your home.

Close to Universal Hollywood, safe, great host.

  • 5 of 5

We were there to visit Universal Studios. It was minutes down the road. Great restaurants within 2 miles of the house. The neighborhood was safe to walk the dog at all hours of the night. Directions to the house are simple to follow. Check in and out was simple. Great Hosts. Would definitely stay here again.

A Great Location

  • 5 of 5

This property was very comfortable, clean and cozy. It is an older property and not perfect or fancy, but it met our needs. The nights were quiet. The beds were very comfortable! I appreciated having a washer and dryer. It had everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay.

Great property for vacation!!

  • 5 of 5

The property is centrally located and very close to most of the hot spots in LA like Universal studios, Hollywood Boulevard etc. The neighborhood is safe and the property is very well maintained. You will get a lot of privacy but Eric is readily available in case you need any help. He indeed is a great host.

The place is ideal for families or individuals looking to stay at a central location and then explore LA. Highly recommend this!

Convenient and cool

  • 4 of 5

Eric was a very nice host who helped us figure out how to get in (which was at first a bit tricky). To be fair, if we had watched the video Eric had graciously prepared, it would have been a piece of cake. The location was excellent for us, and while the neighborhood is by no means posh, it was perfectly safe and friendly. One day we walked to the North Hollywood Metro stop and took the Metro directly to Union Station downtown, which is a GREAT way to see downtown LA and the Arts District without getting stuck in traffic. The Metro is clean, inexpensive and full of beautiful public art.

- Private, secure parking was handy.

- Our only significant critique is that it would have been nicer to have at least one of the two bedrooms set up with a reading lamp on both sides. The front bedroom, where my wife and I stayed, seemed to have plenty of space for this.
