The condo was fine, kind of musty smelling at first but a candle fixed that problem. It is older and a little beat up (doors with holes in bathroom), but that isn't the biggest issue. I have used VRBO and Airbnb for the past 6 years. We usually take two to three vacations a year. The biggest reason for 3 stars was the lack of communication. I usually have wonderful communication and get all the information I need in advance. It was disappointing with this trip because I heard nothing before leaving. I thought maybe I needed to check in at a "front desk" at the property. My itinerary stated an address and when I couldn't find that address I called the number on VRBO. After trying twice I finally spoke with someone and she said she emailed me the information, but after checking she realized she didn't. We finally got everything settled and we found our building. It just wasn't what I am used to when dealing with VRBO renters. Also, not a huge deal but bring salt and pepper if you are visiting. Nothing like that left there. Good for the price but I am glad it wasn't my first experience with VRBO because I probably wouldn't try it again.
The condo was very clean, spacious for the two of us, with a nice king sized bed. We liked the mountain views and there are a couple nice chairs to sit in (although it was a little too chilly the weekend we were there to sit outside). We would definitely stay there again.
Classic ski condo! Everything is very nice and clean, beds are comfy. Me, my wife and 3 year old son had a great time at this condo. The bus stop is directly outside (100 feet) which made it very convenient to go down to town. We rode the bikes and are on the trails on Evolution Bike Park in 2 minutes. The 3 year old had a blast with all the kids activities going on the mountain. I cant wait to come back and check out the brand new Hot Tub and deck! It was under construction when we arrived, but almost complete. The hot tub was in the parking lot and ready to be installed. We had a wonderful time and i highly recommend this place.
I had a great stay for a week at this condo. It is quite spacious for one or a couple. Everything was clean and in working order with a comfortable bed and couch. I never heard a peep from the neighbors. The kitchen could use an upgrade but was functional. Overall, its not an elegant mountain resort condo, but the price is reasonable so this is a good value if that is an important consideration.
I had nothing but a positive experience on my getaway in CB. Alpine Property Management was so easy to work with. Shay made me feel right at home with all of her accommodations. The condo is in a great location, very clean, mtn. decor furniture, and perfect for a family of four. We could jump on the shuttle and head down into town or take the walking/biking path with our kids. This condo is super affordable and you can leave the parking lot and jump right on the mtn. bike trails! I loved how this condo complex was not a huge one with lots of units. Everyone was so friendly and treated us so well. We will back for ski in ski out this winter!
This condo is steps from the slopes of Mt. Crested Butte. In the winter the area boasts world class skiing, snowboarding, nordic skiing, snowmobiling, zip lining, tubing, sledding, ice skating, etc. In the summer enjoy the magical trails for hiking and mountain biking.
