Located in the heart of this popular resort, our vacation home offers comfort and accessibility to all major attractions. Guests who choose to vacation here will get much more than a great location! The property offers a open, lovely backyard perfect for outdoor entertaining. It is equipped with a picnic table and a nice supply of lightning bugs to provide the perfect summer glow. Before taking a bike ride or leisurely stroll in the morning, be sure to enjoy coffee on our large screened front porch. After an afternoon on the beach, the outdoor shower provides a attractive alternative to conventional bathing. The three bedrooms are comfortable, offering two queen and two twin beds. There is an upstairs bathroom located at the end of the hall that has been lovingly updated this year (2016). The downstairs den, just off the kitchen and adjacent to another bathroom, is a great spot for watching television or playing board games. It is also a wonderful space for children to unwind while the adults gather elsewhere. Please plan to enjoy the cottage in the summer season as well as in the 'off season'.
My grandmother purchased the cottage in 1952. I loved spending summers there with my parents, brothers and sisters. We enjoyed being close to the ocean and the boardwalk and looked forward to visiting each year. Even though I live and work in the Virgin Islands, a visit to Rehoboth has always provided me and my children with a connection to an old fashioned vacation filled with walking or riding bikes around town. The cottage is now filled with its fifth generation of happy family vacationers!

The location is ideal. We enjoy coming up from the beach, hanging our towels on the line and taking outside showers. The large screened porch is fun for adults and children. The 'playroom' provides a quiet space for game playing or watching movies at the end of a full day!
Attractive, well located, fenced yard, outside shower and large front porch...park the car and you're set to relax! Guests this year (2016) will enjoy a refurbished upstairs bathroom, fresh paint throughout, a new queen bed and a spiffy, updated exterior!
We really enjoyed our week at this rental in August. The location is great - far enough south from Rehoboth Ave that the beach is less crowded yet it's still easy to walk on the boardwalk to the main area from the house and beach. We never moved our car all week.
Beds were all comfy, and the house was clean, with plenty of room. Outside shower was great. My kids had fun in the yard and on the porch. The owner was very responsive before and during our stay. The street is quiet - no issues with noisy neighbors. Great stay!
What a great start to kick off the summer of 2016! My Boyfriend and I as well as two other couples left the city for a long weekend filled with relaxation, wining and dining, and walks on the beach. This charming beach cottage is filled with quaint vintage finishings, it brought back memories of traveling with my family when I was a kid. Undoubtedly the large screened in porch in the front was exceptional to sit back and catch up. This house couldn't be in a more idyllic neighborhood, filled with sounds of all ages embracing the short 2 block walk to the beach and the close downtown boardwalk area.
My family and I had a blast at this place! We rolled in Monday morning and were immediately struck by the homey feel of this beautiful cottage. Once we settled in we took to the porch for some drinks and afternoon sunshine, then the whole family was able to walk straight down to Funland! The whole experience was great, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great summer rental that's close to town and the beach.
This is our second time staying at this charming and comfortable cottage. It is a four minute walk to the beach and board walk, which my family and I enjoyed each day of our wonderful vacation. After a day of sun, sand, and surf it was a treat to rinse off in the outside shower before settling in to relax on the front screened porch, while watching our children catch lightening bugs outside. We also enjoyed a number of family friendly restaurants and fine dining just minutes away. There's something for everyone at this fabulous vacation spot! Kirra
My family and I had a great time here. It was the classic beach house and only two blocks from an absolutely classic and never-too-crowded beach--even though we were there through Labor Day. Six of us were quite comfortable in the house, and we especially enjoyed the large screened porch. We easily walked to restaurants downtown. We also very much enjoyed all contact with the owner, who hails from an old Rehoboth family.
What a wonderful vacation cottage! My family and I greatly enjoyed its comfort and charm, not to mention it's only a block and a 1/2 away from the beach! Its central location made it easy for us to walk to amazing restaurants, the boardwalk (which our two eight year old twins liked best), or hop on the trolley if we wanted to head into Dewey Beach. I would highly recommend this vacation home to anyone seeking a relaxing and beautiful stay in Rehoboth. I should also mention one of my favorite vacation memories is my husband and I enjoying our early morning coffee on the screened-in porch watching the bikers and runners pass by while our children played in the yard. We will absolutely be back!
Located in the heart of Rehoboth Beach, this unique property gives guests the ability to walk or bike to the best attractions and activities in the area. The ocean and the resort's popular boardwalk can be reached in minutes! Local restaurants offer a variety of dining choices both casual and fancy. Again, these are a short walk from the cottage.
