Short walk to Bergen Ave beach (300 feet) which is guarded. Natural gas grill, deck furniture, 4 flat-screens with HDTV, internet, beach supplies (chairs, umbrella) and 6 beach badges. House is perfect for families, multi-generation families and two families. No graduation parties. No pets allowed (no exceptions). This is a smoke free house.

In 1980 we purchased the original house which was built on this property in 1963 after the 'great storm'. It was a fun beach cottage but with a growing family decided in 2010 to knock it down and build our dream house.

Your house is beautiful and is very comfortable. It will be hard to leave. We are having a great time. Only a little rain yesterday. The beach is the place to be with all the heat this week. Really nice beach!
The house is beautiful and the location is perfect. The house has everything you could want in rental on LBI, the owners thought of everything; from what you need to go to the beach (umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards) to relaxing at night on a comfortable couch watching Netflix. The house is beautiful, very clean, spacious and comfortable; it offers amazing decks to take in an ocean breeze on the roof top or watch a beautiful sunset in the evening. We hated to leave at the end of the wee; next year we'll have to take two weeks!. Thank you for a great vacation experience on Long Beach Island.
This house has everything you want in a weekly rental. The house is immaculate and very well stocked. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, silverware you need to feel right at home. Great decks to spend time on and enjoying beautiful views of the bay and the ocean. Working BBQ allowed us to cook outside and enjoy the summer weather. The house comes with Netflix; definitely not something you expect at a weekly rental. Mark is always available with an immediate response if you have any questions or concerns. I have stayed at other houses on LBI and this was by far the nicest and most pleasant experience we had. Plan on doing this again next year as this house makes you feel at home.
What a wonderful home to call "your own" for a week on LBI! Meticulously kept, filled with everything to guarantee a very happy stay..furnished like an upscale hotel..a beautifully well stocked kitchen..gorgeous multiple decks..the rooftop deck provides a fantastic beach and bay view and has lounge chairs to encourage relaxing. The location couldn't be better..a beach block which made it SO easy to walk to the sand and watch the sun come up with my coffee in hand. I was back and forth several times a day as the beach was literally "in the backyard" .. Definitely a prime location..not congested and private. The shops and stores and restaurants are wonderful.. From a quick bite to an elegant meal, it is all there for you! My family chose to enjoy dinner "on the decks" most nights as the home provides a spacious grill and dining table. Mark certainly knows what a true luxurious beach house needs and he's made sure to provide it all. This is a fabulous home I'd recommend to anyone .. Perfect for families as it ensures private spaces and eac bedroom has its own full bath..two family rooms..an upstairs "powder room" which is great because guests never have to use someone's bathroom. tons of closet space..a very spacious outdoor shower..and so much more! The only downside of Mark's home is that all good things come to an end and the week flys by! I will be staying here again..and again.
Excellent house with plenty of room and all of the ementities you could ask for. Felt at home immediately. House is almost too nice for a rental. Wood floors and furniture are a challenge to keep from harm with little kids around. I would suggest glass tops for the tables to help prevent scratching. The house is so clean that it makes you try effortlessly to keep it that way. Not complaining, just expressing compassion for the owner Mark, who by the way is always accessible to answer any questions with a wonderful attitude. We will definetly be back next year if they will have us.
We love LBI and have been coming for many years. We had a smaller group this year and it was our first time in Harvey Cedars, so we expected many changes. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of shops and places to eat nearby (mainly in Surf City which is just minutes away)...we were expecting it to be quiet compared to Beach Haven, and it was, but not desolate by any means. The beaches were wonderful and not nearly as crowded as we are used to...and BIG! I can't say enough about the house, beautiful, clean and convenient to the beach. Mark was very accommodating and easy to deal with. Another great trip to LBI in the books!
Words can't say enough about our stay at this beautiful home! From the minute you walk in the front door, you know an amazing vacation is about to begin. This home is comfortable, bright, spacious, clean, etc, etc. From the well-stocked kitchen, to the cozy bedrooms, to the fun-filled ping-pong table....this house has something for everyone. A quick walk to the beach to spend the day, a rooftop deck to enjoy some cocktails, and a short bike ride to Sunset Park to enjoy the night sky while our kids ran around the playground and fished off the pier -- we truly had it all. And Mark is an absolute pleasure to deal with!! He goes the extra mile to make sure your vacation is trouble free and especially enjoyable. His responsiveness and kind-heartedness made it so easy to treat this house with TLC as if it were our own. We never wanted to leave, and neither did all of the guests we invited down all week!
