About Megan Truzinski and DeeDee Truzinski

We are the Truzinski family and have made Paradise Valley Montana our home. We spent nearly 15 years traveling to Yellowstone National Park to photograph and hike the back country. In 2007 we bought a vacation home in Paradise Valley on the Yellowstone River. We move to Montana permanently in 2011. We have previously lived in CA, OR, WA, and CO, and while those states have much to offer, MT captured our hearts and much so, we call this 'home'. In 2012 we decided to start a modest vacation rental business to share this magical valley with others.

My wife, Dee Dee, and I have raised two daughters, Megan and Erica. Both are attending Montana State University, Bozeman, a short hour from Paradise Valley. Our spare time is spent hiking and photographing throughout Montana with a special focus on Yellowstone wildlife photography. We know Yellowstone wildlife patterns and behaviors better than 99% of the visitors and would be willing to share our knowledge and expertise with you.

Why Megan Truzinski and DeeDee Truzinski chose Yellowstone

This property is across the road from our larger vacation rental (The River's Edge Rental also on VRBO). Since these bungalow is not 'officially' on the river (you have to walk 100 yards on a private trail to access the river) and they accommodate far fewer guests, we have priced these in the value range. Hotel rooms will cost you near this price and they are not nearly as well equipped, nor do they have the great location.

What makes this bungalow unique

Yellowstone River access, view of Gallatins and Absarokas (views of Emigrant Peak). Private yet accessible.

Enjoyed our stay

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed our stay. We traveled into Yellowstone each day and returned to the Bungalow for a late meal and to sleep. The kitchen is stocked pots/pans, silverware, dishes, etc; even condiments. Full supply of linens and towels and other bathroom essentials. Location is quiet and off the beaten path; expect a 30-45 minute drive into Yellowstone. The owners are very responsive and caring. We would be happy to stay again.

Excellent location to Yellowstone and superbly stocked bungalow

  • 5 of 5

Thanks to the owners of this wonderful bungalow for a great place to stay for our recent Yellowstone vacation. This is a

great location and the place is beautifully decorated, stocked and equipped for a great stay. Only 20-30 miles to Gardner and that

park entrance and the view and drive is wonderful. We would recommend this to anyone coming to the area. It is so much better

than a hotel, we used the outdoor gas grill for the brown trout my husband caught in the Yellowstone River inside the park. Amazing

We just loved this bungalow for our short stay in Paradise Valley. For the 2 of us it was just the perfect size. The kitchen had everything for the cooking we did, there was not anything I needed I could not find. There were condiments in the fridge, oil in the cupboard, all kinds of spices and things you might need a dab of but not have with you. The bed was fabulous!!! I have stayed at multiple rental spaces and this bed was the closest thing to perfect I have slept on. Loved that if a person was flying there was multiple items a person might need that were already there, I have NEVER experienced that before at a VRBO, I mean shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, spritzer, cannot remember everything because I didn't need it but such a pleasure to see it there! There was a blow dryer, yay! To top it off the lovely Megan gifted us swim passes to Chico for our Anniversary, what a great time we had swimming in the late evening with the cold air on top and the hot water underneath. A very short walk to the river was a pleasure to sit and just watch the beautiful scenery! Paradise Valley is a piece of heaven on Earth and this place is made it wonderful! This is the only place I have stayed that had no cleaning fee, that really saves a person a chunk of change, thank you for that :) Thank you Megan for answering all my questions and being so gracious. Happy Day!

Comfortable, not too secluded

  • 3 of 5

We enjoyed our time here. We weren't at the bungalow much except for sleeping and breakfast. But so many extras and a little welcome gift that were pleasant surprises to come into...

It was a bit farther than expected (more like 40 min rather than 30 - more when driving at night)

We will stay here again.
