Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Property was not ready when promised. Was being cleaned last minute and in a rush. Carpets were dirty and bath towels were two per bathroom. The only face towel was stained. Trash not emptied in half bath. Property management very slow to respond to concerns. Not a place I can recommend. Sorry.
The condo. was dirty. The rug and couch had stains and there was hair on sheets. There was an ant problem in the kitchen and Vacasa did not respond to calls promptly, had to call twice. After telling them about the problem, nothing was done even though they said they would stop by. We had to deal with an ant problem on our vacation! We've rented many vacation homes and have never encountered an ant problem, nor a management company that was so unresponsive and unwilling to help.
Chateau Chamonix is a clean and cozy place to stay in one of the most beautiful places in the country. The beach is a short walk, and Safeway and Starbuck's are less than a block away. Lanza's Italian Reataurant is a delight across the street. Overall this is great place to stay for up to two couples and the people at Vacasa are very responsive if you have any issues.
The location is GREAT. I really enjoyed being right on the lake with private enterance. We were minutes away from downtown. Everyone in complex were quiet and nice. Amenities were nice. Heated floors were appreciated...but overall cleanliness was sub satisfactory, which made the experience just okay. New couches and bedding (or just clean) would really enhance the space.
